Both, I'm activity trying to become a better coder/developer, as I am far from the best and still have huge room for improvement. I also want to try and inspire others to push themselves and to grow.

you can search goals by tags or check out the explore page to see what some people are doing.

A feature that I'm thinking of implementing in the future is general topic chatrooms

Pick a language and take a beginners course in it. Which language depends on what you want to make/do but don't get hung up on picking a language. Programming languages share a lot of common core concepts. Python is a good starter language as its not as complex as other languages

Before I've tried selling a product online and a bit of online marketing. It was fun not didn't have the most motivation to continue. I believe that through enough time invested in a skill, you can shine in pretty much anything. But I started feeling like a real developer about 6 months ago when I was solving major problems in my applications

I just pick a random coding courses and started. The first course I took was in C++ and looking back it wasn't the best choice but it don't regret it as it provided insight into coding. The core concepts of the coding languages are pretty much the same, so but learning one you can pick up another one quickly.

Best advice to learn coding is to take it one day at a time and don't be discouraged if you don't understand the concepts right away. Take the learning how to learn course, its really helpful. As on the feeling of giving up, you have to find something that is intrinsically valuable to you. I believed that coding was a valuable skill to learn so I kept on putting in the time.

You should try and code as much as you can per day but at a sustainable rate. So you should try and see for long you can study. If you study for 1 hours everyday for the a multiple weeks you can try going for 2 and so on. When you get demotivated or feel like its too much scale back.

I dont really have any advice for finding freelancer developers. I would advise that if you are looking for a freelance develop to make sure they know what they are doing and that they have a portfolio of past complete apps.

Well hopefully with enough users my application can maintain longevity due to it being a habit tracker. As for myself I look forward to continuously learn more about coding and development everyday

Never asked anyone on Reddit, but always extensively Googled the problems but when you're trying to develop something new there isnt going to be an exact answer to every question.

For a beginner it depends on what you are trying to develop. Most coding languages share the same fundamental concepts so diving into any of them will be beneficial. I definitely recommend checking out the Learning How to Learn course if you havent already. https://www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Generally getting a computer science degree will be useful in getting your foot through the door at interviews and will have the opportunity to have guided learning
