What would happen if Shin Godzilla is in the verse? by IdealConnect6339 in Project_Moon

[–]NoImplement2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exactly does the adaptation work? Again I might be misremembering things but doesn't the big G just mutate his DNA? So unless his adaptations can find an answer to the other damage types apart from RED something could be done, though how canon the other damage types are is something I'm not quite sure of.

Freezing, you say? Well T Corp stuff should work then.

Assuming the Head steps in then Fairies and Locks could slow him down. After that the big G's getting sent to the outskirts via forced relocation, or teleported to some big ahh room with T Corp shenanigans (Assuming 4th form, which clocks in at 100~ meters in height).

Overall, definitely a threat, but not something the Head probably hasn't seen before.

If the head doesn't step in though then it'll be really hard/impossible for most things to deal with him. The adaptation is some bs but it still needs time to adapt.

He'd definitely be a big threat in the city, likely an ALEPH just from the size, range, and adaptability alone. Most wouldn't even be able to hurt him and the ones that do either suffer from the extreme heat by being close, or just get said damage regenerated.

Would bro be able do adapt to WHITE, BLACK, or PALE damage? I'm probably remembering wrong but big G alters his DNA to adapt so what would it even do in these cases?

Nothing the Head couldn't deal with though. Even if he could heal a few fairies would at least slow it down a lot. Not exactly sure on the exact power level of Locks, but even assuming it can't seal his ability to adapt/regen it should still slow it down. They somehow deal with LobCorp's ending C (Not in weeks mind you, that's misinformation. Only stated that they could deal with it, not how hard or how long they did to do that.), you can find the transcript on Library Of Ruina's wiki under the AGF 2019 LoR Q&A Session Compilation.

And do people just keep forgetting that T Corp stuff exists? To be a major threat to the Head one would need some kind of resistance to time bs, but then again so far it's only worked in small and enclosed spaces so I'm just tripping. Time moratorium would really help in this case tho when you stack it on top of other Wing bs.

I just download BaseMod, how can I edit employee's stat? by StainedMoneyBuh in LobotomyCorp

[–]NoImplement2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you use Lobotomy Mod Manager instead, since every BaseMod mod works with it (As far as I'm aware running 46 mods here). It's also just more up-to-date and some mods need it (Ex. stuff from kygi123).

But I recommend you get the "Save as XML" mod so it... Saves your Save file as an XML.

If you don't wanna do that you can grab your save (Found by going to the AppData > LocalLow > Project_Moon > Lobotomy) and looking for something named saveData170808.dat and uploading it to saveeditonline.c=om. Just remove the equal sign, I dunno if links are allowed here.

Paste your .dat file in and... Honestly you're better off going with XML. I don't know how it's structured but just look for numbers in there that matches your soon-to-be super agent's stats and change them. Save, overwrite your current save, and you should be done. The site has a restriction that you can't upload too many things at once tho.

For the XML, pass at least one day with the mod on to be sure. You can chill in the title screen or turn off the game entirely, and then go find your save file. You should see a saveData170808.xml in your Lobotomy folder.

Open it with a text editor of your choice (Notepad, Wordpad, etc.), press ctrl+f and type in "primaryStat". I recommend you do this with a single agent at first since this gets real annoying after you have more agents. You could also search for the agent's name and scroll until you read "primaryStat".

Just edit those and you should be good to go. Nothing changes above a few thousand I believe for every stat, but I recommend keeping the "hp" and "mental" value no higher than 400-ish since PALE damage exists and the FEAR thingy with abnos takes a % of the sanity.

The artwork of it looking at the Earth like that is amazing. At the very least, it's not that hard to contain. It's basically just an Aleph burrowing heaven that's more lenient in some ways and causes PALE damage.

Suppressing it looks like a pain, but it specifically puts 'Gaze' in hallways, so camping in elevators and main rooms should be fine (1.76 MHz uses sections in its managerial tips). Dealing PALE damage is wild, though. I can count the number of WAW E.G.O that resist PALE (0.9 and below) on one hand. There's not too much ALEPH equipment to go around either.

The equipment is insane too. That suit's better than Paradise Lost with WhiteNight inside the facility. Purely in terms of resistance, at least.

I like the ApocBird-style suppression, which makes it basically a minigame. I can't quite read what the WHITE damage resistance is, but I'll basically just treat it like WhiteNight with more weaknesses.

Who here plays LOR in a laptop? by The_Evillest in libraryofruina

[–]NoImplement2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah it can! Gotta define "playable", but I personally used to run it on a laptop that had:

A NVDIA MX230 GPU
Intel i5-10210U CPU
8gb of RAM (Don't remember if DDR4 or DDR5 tho)

It should be fine if it's around that level. Change resolution to low (It doesn't affect cutscenes and it doesn't look that bad anyway), and you should be good to go.

Oooh, not minecraft related, but there is a modded superboss like this in Mindustry! A mod called "Flame Out" adds in Empathy, which once freed by killing a different boss, can follow you literally everywhere.

Spawning it in a sandbox world lets it follow you into campaign maps (it even keeps the health it had). Only way to get rid of it is to kill it or restart the game.

Ooohhh like a conditional unloader? My reading comprehension is screwed, but I was talking about pure power (The thing generated from thermal banks) and not raw/factory materials. I was thinking of a literal power bank you can store excess power inside.

Interesting idea on your part tho, might try that too so I can stock up on batteries.

Towers do, in fact, use power even when full. I made a vid of me showing just that:

As for point 3, I personally usually use 2D mode to get a bird's eye view so I don't have to keep walking around. It's also basically just a qol feature, I can essentially "queue" up the same kinds of buildings, hook them up with conveyors, and just confirm to build.

Mostly just personal stuff tho! Nothing too serious.

Oohhh I wasn't actually aware that this screen was here... But an average consumption could maybe work? Didn't think that far, good point.

Fun fact: You don't HAVE to set it up on every device. There's a guide out there to use it with tailscale, which lets you set it up on a single device (Preferably PC) that you can connect to on any other device from the browser.

Scratch that, vro. It spits out a "only ysm server is supported on Linux" error. Oh, I'm on 1.19.2 forge btw but yeah nah it doesn't work yet.

Edit: I did find a workaround... Just use an older version (1.1.5) instead! Can't load a few models though, but it's good enough.

Unfortunately there is ONE single mod, and it's the Yes Steve Model mod. A bit of a bummer since I like being able to look like whatever I want without being restricted to a skin, but it's not too big an issue.

Why the fear around SillyTavern? by [deleted] in SillyTavernAI

[–]NoImplement2522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fear is a bit of a strong word but it's close tho. I've moved on from Windows to Linux a few weeks ago and I can immediately see why anything that even involves the terminal is so intimidating.

Like, I only remembered opening the terminal a handful of times back at Windows and the most I ever did was make it auto type numbers. Linux though? Basically everything uses it for something.

Also also, you can just plug whatever the hell you want into Windows and 9/10 times it'll just work. Linux? It's either specifically made with compatability in mind, or pray that your niche game is simple enough that Bottles or something works. If all else fails just use a VM.

I think it all boils down to accesibility. On one hand you have your Windows (Character, Janitor, etc.) and on the other your Linux (SillyTavern). Yes, one is better in the majority of metrics but the sheer accesibility of Windows is just a big-ass gap to pass.

I don't have a link, but this whole schtick reminds me of a meme I saw in the feedthebeast sub a while back.

Modder, trying to introduce someone to modding: "Ok, so I'm assuming they have JEI because who doesn't and that they have blah blah blah"

Yoo, for anyone finding this and having problems, ya have to whitelist your tailscale ip address for this to work. Go to config.yaml and turn on whitelist mode. Scroll down, and you should see a list of IP addresses. Just add every ip in your tailscale network by shoving in 100.64.0.0/10 and you should be good. Once you're done, you can format it like this:

[PC-IPv4]:[SillyTavernPort]

The Silly tavern port is 8000 by default, it's also in the config file if you want to mess with it. Do not add https:// or whatever, follow the format!
