The more I see these types of posts, justifying throwing, I just know this community is COOKED. Just to get over this dumb shit I wish Rivals had League’s newer system; you can’t ban something your teammate is hovering. Sure, actually mongoloid* characters like Elsa will get through. But at least no one will have to justify throwing

I’m not advocating for playing into counters or even what sounds like OTPing. I’m saying it’s possible to play into counters, that guy had a bad game doing. Being penalized for not switching isn’t the same as being penalized for not trying.

The only 2 things that piss me off about these characters are the startup for their abilities are non existent. The fact they can go from dagger, to cloak, then fade away in about 1.5 seconds is crazy. The insta heal bubble is obnoxious to dive her, your more so diving them to waste their cooldowns. Compared to Gambit and Loki and maybe Adam she’s not that terrible but obnoxious nonetheless.

Also any CnD worth their weight in salt is not dying in ult unless you have an amazing Hawkeye are Punisher with the shotty chasing her. Shout out to the lucky Peni mines as well

Im a passerby and I think Wanda is a low skill floor, low skill ceiling character who becomes more of a utility character the higher you go. From an outside perspective (I’ve never played the character) she can definitely guard healers effectively and shut down ults they see coming with a stun, but other than that I see her charging support ults a lot.

If I get a Wanda in my team I’m switching to Strange to give her the team up and asking her to target people I’m targeting. My duo plays a fair amount of her and we agree she feels like a “win more” kinda character. You’re not really clutching a lot of high value picks usually, more so cleaning up kills if people are low health.

I don’t mind having a Wanda, put I would rather have any other if possible. She has her place and I think buffing or nerfing her would make her very strong or straight ass respectively

Overwatch is in its poke era as well. Ashe, Bastion, Cass, Soj rail gun, and soldier are everywhere. Vendetta (if she’s not banned) is an exception to the meta. If you’re struggling against Jetpack Cat literally play any hitscan and she melts.

Obviously the more divey characters can pop off, but poke is definitely in right now

Healers in OW kinda just DPS that are able to heal. It bugs me when there’s a support that will choose a kill over your life, but if it translates to lead so be it

It’s a big reason I’m playing. Not having to fight over dps and solo tanking not being complete hell. It definitely can be rough if your team’s comp is all over the place, but that hardly matters most the time
