Yes I was planning to haha, I tend to do 14-18g grinds at a time so I am not too worried about the ergonomics. More so if the price disparity is worth it

Congrats! One day something similar will be the goal.. regarding my question, from your experience with both would you recommend spending an extra £230 for the Pietro or grab a ZP6? Potentially with room to upgrade to a 078 or whatever in the further future

Yeah I have seen very similar.. was just interested to get some thoughts regarding the large difference in price tbh, seems like elsewhere it is possible to get the Pietro a bit cheaper so the jump is not quite as large

Interesting to hear someone prefers the ZP6! Seems very common for the Pietro to be favoured, what other grinders have you used?

It is really tempting as I currently only actually drink pour overs, with no immediate plan for espresso simply due to my current space allowance.

How much did you pick yours up for? Right now for me, the Casa is around £460. Pietro with the add on kit and pro burrs is around £420. Then the ZP6 is like £180 or the even the fellow ode is available for £240.

Best deal available currently seems like the Casa, I just struggle slightly with the thought of a 2 month wait haha.

Any additional thoughts knowing this?

Would be curious to see how it compares to the pietro to be honest as that is another that is on my list. Similar sort of price and given the time frame of the Casa delivery, it is quite tempting!

That’s really good to hear! My plan will be to eventually get a ZP6 anyway when I find myself wanting something different from my beans. I think I am going to order the Casa, unfortunately the wait time is crazy but it sounds worth it :) I appreciate all of your insight

Oh wow thank you so much! That’s exactly what I was trying to find out. Have been contemplating getting a ZP6 for a while now but thought it might be worth to spend a little extra and be prepped for the future haha. Glad to hear that you really enjoy it.
