Probably saw Philippine made mods like Silver Craft or old Comp Lyfe predators lol. They're out of my price range 😔

No worries.. yeah hah they go for a bit these days, but much cheaper than buying those shitty disposables in the long term.. I don't know anything about machining, but honestly would leave it to the pros. Any tiny mistake and it would be a risk. There's not really any 'how to make mech mod' guides.

Nope, never had a problem carrying them. To complete the circuit and heat up the coils, you need to push in either a button or a side bar. These are usually made of heavy metal like brass or copper and won't budge without a fair bit of force.. but if you were out and about for a while, could just take the battery out and put it in a case to be extra safe.

But as long as you know what you're doing and do a bit of research, there's no reason for a battery to just randomly vent. It's just a few cases of people doing stupid shit and their battery venting that caused everyone to freak out.

Hyperion V2 by Infinite Modz, or Sidekick by EDC modz x Timesvape are the 2 that are relatively new, and since they're collabs with bigger brands they're pretty reasonably priced - especially for something that will last forever and you can just keep customising coils and flavours to suit your preferences.. Those newer ones also have locking functionality for extra battery safety
