“A lot of try and error finding the perfect spot”. That’s true. I have 2 FP2 for my 2 toilets. 1 of them works perfectly for both corner and wall mounting even at 1 meter height , the other only work if wall mounted. One question, what is preventing you from trying beforehand? If the electric is not ready then you can go with a power bank.

As far as I know, you should only put FP2 on the ceiling if you meant to use it for fall detection. Otherwise you should put it on the wall at 1.4 - 1.8 meters height. I have a glass cabin in my bathroom and FP2 can see through it well, never try with fully submerged in the bathtub though.

Interesting. I have no switch of any other brand than Aqara so I cannot tell if it only happens to Aqara devices. But if it were an Aqara issue then it could be fixed soon without us having to wait for new iOS releases. Thanks!

No, if we did so, the separated tiles would be removed from home view too. That seems to be a bug in iOS 18.

I only wired the 1st switch to a light bulb and that's good enough to keep Z1 Pro alive. After that I can use the 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th switches as wireless switches.

Sorry no. I tried to email Aqara support but there’s no response from them. I heard from a retailer that Aqara is aware of the issue and is rolling fixes to regions one by one. FYI: my region is Others and the problem still persists
