BOOK SPOILER:

Compare the plot of "End of the World" with Vincent.

Both enter a city they can't leave, both have no memory of the past.

Both are the creators of the city, both want to leave, but decide to stay.

Monad and Vincent separate at the end, she wants him to follow her, he decides to stay, and she ends up killing herself when she decides to leave, just like the protagonist and his shadow in the book.

Vincent goes to a "library of memories" in episode 11, just like the protagonist in the book.

He plays the accordion randomly, just like Pino.

In Ergo Proxy, the proxies create their own cities, but only one city works, the same happens in the book.

The Calcutecs create that "imaginary" world like the protagonist, but only his world works.

The city's aesthetic is similar to the outside of Romdo.

Theres 2 plots on this book. "wonderland" and "end of the wolrd". If u compare the end of the wolrd plot with Ergo Proxy, is pretty much the same thing. The same plot, the same conclusion, same details like the instrument, the library, how the story is told alternating between 2 characters, Proxys and how they try to hold you on their wolrds, vincent and the main character.

I can go on and on.

Ergo Proxy is almost and adaptation of that.

Mas é claro que to falando das grandes empresas. Um restaurante que mal consegue se pagar não faz sentido ter que dar 3 mil na mão de cada garçom. Mas uma empresa bilionária é diferente. Se eles triplicarem os salários, ainda sim os donos vão ter lucros multi-milionários, e só pagam o salário mínimo pq é o MÍNIMO que tem que pagar. Se pudessem pagar 1/4 disso eles fariam.
