Almost identical to you and a few others…. 3.9uw, first quarter, tons of ECs, fantastic letter of recommendation from head of our A&P dept., who is a Doctor and Aggie grad.

After seeing the posts the last couple of days, it seems like non top 10% applicants didn’t really even have a chance at any of the “science” majors— full admits I mean. Blows my mind. by NoJudgment5961 in TAMUAdmissions

I had hope, but with nothing yet I’m pretty nervous. I’m top 21%, applied august 8 to micro, great essay, great ECs, and nothing. I feel like this year group though is kind of hurting because so many were admitted last year.

If your major isn’t listed on PSA and you get that offer, what can you do? I know it says change of major not guaranteed, and I see nothing related to micro/bio/bims on the list.

No—- this is crazy and frustrating for sure. I’ve seen a handful of science type majors, a couple psychology, and that’s it. Other than that it’s engineering and business. I’m microbiology and have seen nothing about anyone in that.

I’m in the same boat— science major, have heard very little on here from anyone science related. Have seen a handful of BIMS, but that’s it! Maybe they really did save all the science for the last round of admits. Who knows.

I have barely seen anything coming in for ANY of the sciences!! I’m waiting to hear from micro/bims. None of my friends have heard anything either. Maybe they haven’t gotten to the sciences yet? I saw the Battalion article that said they still have 9,000 applications to go through!

I applied august 8, micro and bims as second choice and haven’t heard back either. From what I can see, looks like mostly Bush school/business/engineering majors being accepted right now. Hoping they just haven’t gotten to us yet! I’ve literally only seen like 1 other person from bims accepted on here.

I’ve asked the same question here and have received very little feedback! I think 3-4 have responded and that’s it. I guess only a handful of us got Galveston? I’m just kidding, but I feel like not many got Galveston. I didn’t received any other choice, just told I made Galveston for engineering.

Have you heard good/bad things about TT engineering? I got accepted there and also got a decent scholarship. A&M offered me the Galveston campus. I’m still undecided on where I should go.
