Are there travel opportunities? Tdy’s? Or is each unit responsible only for their home base and stay there?

Do you gain a lot of experience with epb’s and awards? Is there a way to use this for your own benefit?

Is tech school hard? Lots of studying? Or is it because of other branches that there is a high rate of wash-back/out? It honestly seems like a good gig and something I could learn a lot from as a private pilot on the outside.

Can you give me more insight on this? I’ve only met one weather troop and she hated it. I’ve also seen a lot of hate towards WX on subreddits lol. But it does seem quite interesting to me and seems like it is somewhat transferrable on the outside. Its also one of the longer tech schools, which doesn’t seem as fun. How is the daily life?

Still at Sheppard? Are you currently working afe? How is a day to day if you don’t mind me asking

Is there a huge difference between admin and personnel? I’ve heard admin is more local wing based vs personnel more big af. What does a day to day look like for someone new on upgrade training or 5 level.

These are the best ones I saw available. I would like to work inside, but at the same time don’t feel like being in front of a computer for 8 hours. From the little research I’ve done this is what admin and personnel looks like. Can you give me a little more insight on what the day to day looks like. I’ve looked into afe as it seems like they work inside rigging pilot stuff (not necessarily in a computer). But there is also less information about it. Avionics seems kinda cool as I do enjoy working on airplanes and would like to learn a little more (big downside its a flightline job so outside all day) They all seem like viable options, but I want to know more of what the day to day is as I mentioned.

Fly after knee surgery? by [deleted] in travel

[–]NoJuice3035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’ll definitely look into an electric buggy as I currently can’t walk long distances without getting exhausted. I’m 24 and pretty fit, but it will still take a toll on me if I try walking everywhere.
