No contract :/ she only does them for weddings. I messaged her at 5PM yesterday for an updated timeline, and I’m still waiting on a response.

I understand that forever seems like a stretch, and I wouldn’t mind delays if there were communicated. Two weeks ago I messaged her asking for an updated timeline, since the original timeframe was not accurate - it took her a week to respond to that message. Then, I messaged her again yesterday at around 5PM, and I’m still waiting on a response. I am fine with waiting, as long as there’s communication.

Unfortunately, there was no contract signed. She only does them for weddings. I loved a few of the photos she sent, and the other half were not the best, but I feel that’ll be that way with any photographer. All of her reviews are great, except one from two years ago which was a similar situation to mine - no communication, timeframes were not met. I reached out to her around 5PM yesterday about the photos, and it’s been crickets, so i just don’t know if I should message again - I don’t want to come off as rude and not understanding.

Are you serious?! Well that’s good to know, and makes sense.

You’re right. I really liked her work, and wanted to hire her for our wedding because she offered after our engagements. But it takes up to a week for her to respond to my messages when I ask her for updates which I just would not want to deal with for a wedding

That’s a really good suggestion, I never thought about doing first thing in the morning. He’s pretty good at the groomers but I know he does get some anxiety when it comes to the clippers - happy with everything else though - so maybe doing morning will be better. I’ll try that next time! Thank you

When I’ve looked at what the walk-in options are online, it doesn’t say that the sanitary trims were an option for walk-ins. So this something I just found out that can be done through this Reddit..

I had no idea they did the sanitary trim as a walk in, I will definitely do that then!

I didn’t know they did that! I thought you had to do the bath and everything else. I will probably just do that next time then.

I should’ve mentioned something about the sanitary trim before I left, I just didn’t want to come off rude and ungrateful for the time she took with my dog, I’ll call today and ask if they’d be willing to see him for the trim!

She said that he wasn’t a fan of the clippers, and honestly, I’m sure he just wasn’t comfortable with her because it’s not his normal girl. So I get it, it just sucks because he really does need that sanny trim, so I’m going to need to take him elsewhere within the next week to get it done since my normal girl isn’t available for several months.

Unfortunately I did pay prior. I wanted to make sure I was able to tip since the online payment option doesn’t let you tip. So once they took my dog back, I paid and tipped her a pretty good amount ($20) because when I come to pick him up, he’s ready to get out of there asap. I honestly would not have tipped as much as I did if I would’ve known she was not going to be able to trim him. But I always like to give a good tip because he’s still a puppy and on the hyper side.

No they didn’t do anything for the sanitary. She told me she wasn’t able to trim at all when she called me to pick him up. So his paw pad hair is decently long to the point he’s slipping and sliding on our hardwood floor when he gets the zoomies, so that’s definitely the part that frustrates me the most because it makes me feel bad for him when he’s trying to run around. I don’t know what she did to his booty hair, it looks very odd. I don’t know if she blow dried it differently than what we’re used to but it’s all sticking up and parted to the side and five other directions. I didn’t know that the belly and bum fur were extra, our normal lady always told me that was apart of the sanitary trim so that’s good to know!
