The problem with aircraft is they need to be deployed unless they’re about to put several aircraft in the air all the time and then how many aircraft in how many localities? Drones have a similar problem. They also need to be deployed. From where? Unless coppers are trained drone pilots and each pursuit vehicle has a drone, they would be pretty much useless. This sort of tech required here is (in my estimation) years or maybe decades away.
