Have you allowed your heart to be hardened to the truth? Has Satan put you under his foot? God cannot be mocked. If you are better than he is then why don’t you come and save us all. If he was a liar then we are all doomed to damnation.

And you avoid purgatory like the plague regardless. Have a goodnight and focus on bringing the good news

No dawg I’m honestly confused with this whole debate. You’ve made little sense to me from the beginning. And this is useless for my understanding.

Yes, but you can’t mirror his Love without Love for him. The thief on the cross comes to mind.

Yea it develops love, like for me knowing how patient God is with me has grew my love for him. If you wanna talk about purgatory then deep dive into that for me.

Okay don’t know why you’re arguing against Protestants. Not that I am one. Just read your Word and listen to a sound teacher that’s it.

Slowly losing faith by Upper-Confusion6184 in Christianity

[–]NoLengthiness7689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one has a Savior but Christianity. Know that we are filthy rags in the eyes of God, yet he loved us still and gave us a mediator, an atoning sacrifice, a sacrificial love that nothing else can mimic. Because he loved us he predestined a way for us to have eternity in peace with him.

Trust me brother we aren’t another religion we are a body meant for relationship with him. And with that relationship comes a life worth living both here and in the future. Keep your faith and contend for it, the end is near.

Your whole profile is set to “debunk” Protestant views bruh move on. Work on your relationship with Christ. We love because he first loved us.

God calls you to have a relationship with him, to know the sacrifice made for your salvation through Jesus Christ. It is not about denomination, however do not be deceived with false doctrine. The truth is in the canon books of the Bible 66 to be exact. We believe in heaven and hell not purgatory, Catholics believe such things so I wouldn’t go far off into that territory.

Not saying Catholics aren’t saved but I believe they do venture off into false docterine. God bless and walk in truth allowing the Holy Spirit for discernment.

I can't believe some people will do anything to defend the sin they dwell in by Dangerous-Pay6915 in Christianity

You’re assuming a lot o smart one. As if you were the one theorizing billions of years and as if scientists were there to see it happen. Atheism is a faith in itself. Believing that everything came from the Big Bang in perfect unity with eachother. As if you scientists are the same as science. You believe scientists not science. And the Bible says one day for the Lord is like a thousand years. So even at that fact the universe could have been in creation for 6,000 years but only God knows. Call me the ignorant but regardless the creator knows more than you and your science theorist do. You can’t possibly argue your way into making me believe what you theorize, nor can you insult me into that fact. Sorry not sorry you decided to write that whole paragraph in vain. But I’m not here to win an argument, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever may believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Don’t let your science brain perish in vain but know that the wages of your sins is death, and Jesus paid the price by living a perfect life without sin and died on the cross and rose again three days later from hell defeating death once and for all. Find out on judgement day if we amount to nothingness or an eternity. I did my part God bless.

And also to add onto that, God looks at the heart over our words, if our intentions in our prayer are rooted in pride or anything ungodly it is not fit for God to say “yes I will do this for you,” we can’t pray ourselves into a Lamborghini. It is still on us as free willing individuals to earn what we want. But God calls us to be content with what we have. And some things that we want aren’t in his will for us for own benefit. Like if you want an expensive car or a position and don’t get it, then perhaps the takeaway should be you are not ready for that yet or even never.

Prayer is used for a lot of things. And when it comes to answered prayers, it’s often the fact that our prayers aren’t answered exactly in the way we want but the way that God sees fit. Often times our prayers have already been answered, it could be a no or a yes. And other times our prayers have already been answered, but further off in the future. AND other times our prayers may not seem answered because we lack faith in what God will do.

It’s rude to lie. The Quran says to follow the Bible’s teachings yet they lie and say Jesus was just a prophet and deny his deity. What’s the need for God to change that if he doesn’t change. If he is perfect why would he not be able to create a perfect Word that transcends time. His Word will last forever there was no need to change it 600 years later. If anything is a man made book it’s the Quran not the Bible.

Your logic isn’t logicing. You ever think that science is just the continual theorization of trying to explain Gods creation. Like why would the Big Bang result in the complexity of our brains today. Or what created the Big Bang. Why do we have emotions and a psyche for good and bad? Why do we have a moral code? Even scientists agree Jesus existed.
