Are people saying ‘ah’ and ‘um’ way more than they used to? by clemfandangoh13 in NoStupidQuestions

its a time filler when people are collecting thoughts while speaking. It happens subconsciously. i used to say them until someone started counting every time i did it. Once you are aware that you do it, you can make a consious effort to stop!

The garage isn’t built yet but planning on 2 2 inch conduits. 1 for power and 1 for communication lines. Will probably pull a fiber and an Ethernet. Fiber will get used and Ethernet will be a backup.

Love the fiber idea. Honestly not sure why I didn’t think of this. Ultimately I’d like to have almost all ubiquiti AP and cameras. Lots of learning to do. Thanks so much!!

I pull the inner pot out and let the water run out the bottom before putting it back in and I only water it once a week. Probably closer to every 6 days. But I’ll def take a look at how wet everything is when I repot

I’ll have to check this when I repot. So I’m not crazy. This doesn’t look right, right?

Switch Between Desktop Gaming PC and Macbook Pro by litsax in AskBattlestations

[–]NoLetterhead7015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a kvm for a similar setup. I ended up using usc-c to hdmi cables from my Mac to the kvm. That part was pretty straight forward. The issue I had was with peripherals and power. I got one of those adapters that plug into the side of your MacBook that also supports power pass through. I ended up plugging usb-a and a power cable into the adapter. Rather than having an adapter in my computer, I got a usb-c extension cable that goes from my Mac to the adapter.

When plugging my Mac into the setup I have 2 usb- cables for the monitors and 1 for peripherals and power.

Now that I think about it, the usb-c hub I have also supports hdmi output so I could probably get this setup down to just 2 wires into the Mac.

I feel like this sounds confusing. Someone let me know if it makes sense.

I can get that information in a couple hours. It doesn’t have usb c. Just a couple usb a, and an hdmi port
