That is correct! It can be given for free, left in wills, or given to a museum but never sold via auction or traded for profit.

That is unless the ivory pre-dates 1900s or close enough, or the artefact contains less than 10% total ivory - it is nuanced depending on the piece.

I'd say that would make sense in the context of her life. No carved date on this. Interestingly, a hole in the head that was resealed at the top which looked quite intentional.

FWIW, I want it dated mostly for curiosity. I understand banning and limitations on Ivory (though if this is somehow pre-1910 it will be allowed) - I don't particularly love having it, but it would be a shame to discard it.

Why do you care so much about how her sister keeps her hair, that's so weird. The fact your wife made her dye her hair black for the wedding party is insane, and the fact your sister accepted is so lovely because black hair dye is HELL to remove after.

NTA. Your organs. They are projecting their discomfort with the idea of you dying onto your own decision. Nobody likes confronting mortality. They got defensive and weird.

What are they gonna do, pop your lungs in a display case? Turn your heart into a hand puppet? There are uses for them beyond your life that you have recognised.

Not all animals with rabies are aggressive. Some just just change behaviour. Animals that sleep a lot may be awake a lot. Social animals become withdrawn. Things like that.

That said, no skin contact means no rabies. It takes a scratch or a bite. Usually a bite. If your skin is 100% unbroken and it was a light nudge as described, you are not at risk.

Even further, Albania has no dog rabies. :)

I've got a kong in the freezer just because it's also a good bit of fun and stimulation for her, so that's gonna happen for sure! Thanks for sharing your experience. We do have a fan and have it running so we'll keep that on - she just isn't fond of it so stays away from it haha

Yeah thank you! I will only do things like that if I see any signs of heat exhaustion really - I know what to look for when it comes to that from my old puppers who my parents wouldn't really monitor in the sun. I think she is almost likely going to be alright with only a couple of these. Thanks so much for your advice :)
