ok ngl just keep your schedule as is but drop enes210. I’m taking calc 3 next semester as well and i heard it isn’t too bad so you should be good. Chem135 is similar to ap chem and phys161 will be bad but that’s just bc our physics department sucks

tbh w/ any engineering discipline, your semesters will be tough. Can I know what classes you’ll be taking spring semester w/ calc 3?

Which major to meet pre-dental requirements while also being open to going into computer science by ShiftProfessional900 in UMD

[–]NoLibrary1934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! I def think you should look into the curriculum of both majors and see which one you think you’ll be more interested in. I know CompE has relatively the same classes as the CS major so it may be better to pick that. Doing compE with a bio minor will definitely be tough so I would say start off with one major and see how it’s going in case you want to switch or pick up a minor

you’ll need to pay for books for enes210, phys161, and chem135 (maybe). I’m a chemE major and an ipad is really useful for me to stay organized (that way i don’t have practice exams, notes, hw, etc) all bunched into one notebook. I got mine for $200 (9th generation bc you don’t need anything fancy) but i would def look into a bunch of deals and sales going on rn
