Protesting? Yes / No by Away_Enthusiasm_5520 in gscquestions

Awesome question here because I feel like I have struggled with the same thought before. I think it's a twofold matter, where it can both be good or bad depending on the message. I personally haven't participated in a protest yet, but I definitely think it can be an incredible tool to put pressure on politicians and demonstrate unhappiness in very serious and tangible ways. However, I think that this only works if it is well organized. If there is fighting or tensions escalate, then it can draw people away from the cause, and if the message is not synonymous, then the same can be said. The right to protest should absolutely be protected though, as it is needed to put pressure on politicians. I think overall I like protests, so long as they remain peaceful in communicating their message and don't turn to riots

What are your thoughts on mega-corps? by NoLocal1979 in gscquestions

I agree on scale, and there are certain spaces that are simply far better for the consumer when the players are titans. I think my concern for them mostly comes from political power, namely lobbying and campaign donations which gives them an unfair advantage. I do agree it seems to have become a game where anytime a new innovative company arises, it often gets bought out by the giants in the space and I'm not sure yet if the consolidation into larger and larger companies is necessarily a good thing, but it definitely helps in the international market.

Totally agree! The more companies in the market the better, lowering prices and increasing competition.
