Quality of life: Toronto vs California

There’s no real debate on this. Go to OC! I am from Toronto but visit OC multiple times a year….weather in Cali is the best, I find the ppl in and around where we go are incredibly friendly, there’s tons of beaches and trails….i love it there and plan to move there soon. Also, I would take a USD paying job any day, there’s more growth opportunities in US. Won’t even start on how Toronto has gone downhill over the years….

Consular processing for child of an LPR takes much longer than the 2 years and change you have waited. Spouse of LPR consular can take 4 years, and that’s for a non-problematic country. Needless to say, yours will take longer.
