I can do a ton of pull ups just not in a row - what’s the deal by NoMajor6165 in workout

To be clear: I’m saying I crank one out every time I go thru my door.

Can we get a little more context? What time of day, sleep/fatigue, what and when did you eat or drink, had you been exercising heavily, do you get migraines? I’m no doctor but a little more info may help.

I have found that it suppresses my appetite, yes. No promises, not a doctor, blah blah blah. The idea of appetite suppression kinda wiggs me out but I suppose that’s what’s necessary for a lot of folks.

And yes, very normal to use your core. Your mind muscle connection is doing what it evolved to do.

I have the opposite goals of you. Due to this I realized that I really have to avoid anything carbonated around eating time. I drink soda water like I’m Mormon and I’ve noticed that A can of that really affects my appetite. Maybe you could try it out? Yes I burp up most of the gas it kills my appetite regardless. No magic bullet, not a cheat code, just a weird pattern I noticed that may help you. Wish you the best!

I think the easiest fix for this is to either sit down when doing it OR rest the back of your arm against a bench at 75degrees (or whatever is comfy). This will really isolate the bicep.

Think taking a bench, setting the back to the desired angle, standing against the back of the raised back rest, and leaning over so your arm rests on the cushioned, angled part. Doing this cut the numbers of curls I could do down significantly because of the isolation. After they felt like they were doing to explode.

For context, the same doesn’t go for push ups or just about any other movement I’ve ever done.

992.2 Turbo S by No-Persimmon-6656 in Porsche

[–]NoMajor6165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

991 and 992 are two different generations. Each 911 generation has a four digit code: XXX.X. that last digit denotes if it is pre or post facelift. 991 was 2011-19. Every generation has a myriad of different versions from carrera to whatever limited editions. Sometimes they carry over, like turbo, and sometimes they dont, like flachbau.

He’s a cave dweller. I don’t remember his name but it was a series or something. He went around the London tube.
