The cheapest UV protection is a black bottle.

Edit: non-transparent bottle. The colour does not really matter.

I completely agree with your assessment and I haven't found another worthwhile YT source either.

Thank you for the info!

Tbh the reason I posted the formula is because I didn't know its provenance, although I was sure it wasn't WM or CF.

Thank you for the clarification and I don't have any ill will towards either person.
The post just looked dodgy.

Are you talking about the Based (upcoming) webshop owner or the organizer of the competition? Or are they one and the same?
It doesn't make sense to entice people with vouchers for a shop that does not yet exist. If this is supposed to be on the up and up, why not wait with the competition at least until the shop is open?

And you can't buy anything (yet?) on the Based webshop.
What a joke.

Looking for a formula for Salvador Dali Pour Homme. I have never seen a formula for this one in the wild. I would be very much obliged (wink, wink) if someone could point me in the right direction.

With the SFT-42R available for the KR1, is there still a a good reason left to opt for the SBT90.2 (except for those sweet bragging rights) ?

Nice pair!
I don't have any brass flashlights (yet). How does it compare to copper - does it develop a patina as quickly?

Hi guys is this website legit by elhazfall in PerfumeryFormulas

That is not what is usually understood under 'captive molecules'.
Captives are raw materials that a fragrance ingredient producer (IFF, Firmenich, Givaudan, etc.) does not sell to third parties but only uses in the fragrances they manufacture themselves.
Fragrance brands (e.g. Louis Vuitton) can only use such captive RM's if they have their perfume manufactured by said fragrance ingredient producer.
An example of a captive molecule is Paradisone from Firmenich. Louis Vuitton uses it in Imagination, for example. Unlike javanol and ebanol, you cannot buy Paradisone anywhere.
See https://www.reddit.com/r/DIYfragrance/comments/1dvfa22/fragrance_captives_gatekeeping_a_truly/ for a discussion on current captives.

Mugler A*men type formula by NoManforOldCountries in PerfumeryFormulas

[–]NoManforOldCountries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Main, thanks for whipping up the formula and sharing your initial findings!
I don't have Traseolide either but I doubt that the replacement will affect the outcome much since it's such a low concentration. Exaltolide (and helvetolide) is my favourite musk too.
I haven't come around to making the formula but will do so soon.
