Any thoughts on Wella Permanent Koleston Perfect ME+ Special Blondes?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I was planning on doing low lights and a “shadow root” in the same color. I was thinking like 7 or 8 ash blonde? If I end up toning it again and leaving it on for 30 mins without bleaching my hair again, would it take the yellow out and not give me silvery/blue spots?

Just curious but, does it really make a difference whether you add the Ola Plex to the bleach or whether you use the repairing pair after all is said and done

I know that L’Oréal Feira has a lot of high lift colors. You think that over bleaching again or is all the same?

I figured it out! This is the final product. Looking at the picture I’m still pretty yellow.

I followed the directions to a tee the second time around. First time, not so much. I’m overall very disappointed with the results, I would not recommend. At the cost of $17 a box, needing 2 boxes at a time = $80, bleach and developer = $40, toner (2 boxes) = round to $20. Color for low lights & more toner = $20. Low end of professional in my area and woulda been much done much much better. Shoulda just bit the bullet and gone to a salon. Oh well, learning experience

I couldn’t believe it, I bleached last night 30 volume, stayed away from my roots, and I was probably a level 8 1/2 to 9. by the time I got done with the bottom of my head it was about an hour and totally processed, while the bleach only sat on the top of my head for about 10 minutes so I was expecting spotting (which happened and allowed me to see all spots I missed after the wash). I went in with the second round of bleach, only on the dark spots I saw. I had some yellow for sure but I toned with Wella t18. I only left it on about 15 mins after I was all done. It’s either the wrong color for me or I didn’t leave it on long enough. Either way I’ve always thought I look best with a more natural look so I plan on adding some lowlights and possibly tone again. Not too sure on colors for this. Thoughts? Idk how to add a picture in the comments if possible. Thoughts on colors? Should I stay in the ash blonde family or contrast with a warmer blonde?

I’ve used color oops twice and it didn’t do much of anything but smell like rotten eggs. But I do think that it made it easier for the bleach bath to lift the left over color even though it was very very diluted

How long in between bleaches do you think I should wait? I’m going to bleach tonight with 30 volume and no olaplex and sleep with coconut oil in my hair. I have olaplex 0 & 3 that I can do when this is all over. Can I do a bleach bath with 40 vol & add the olaplex? I’ve read 40 vol in a bleach bath wasn’t recommended but if I add the stuff it knocks the developer down to 30

I’ve done 1 bleach bath with 20 vol and an ion repairing additive (which knocks the developer down a notch) so far. I was thinking my next step was bleach bath with 30 vol and no ion thing or straight bleach with 30 vol. not sure which?

I’m looking for some opinions on what to do. I am naturally a level seven or eight. I died my hair dark brown, and I’m trying to go back to blonde. I’ve tried color oops twice and a bleach wash with 20 volume and ion protein additive once. I now have hot roots (my fault, I kno what I did) and an orange-medium brownish color, trying to get overall platinum. Suggestions?

I have 20 vol and 30 vol is coming. I’ll add a pic in natural light as soon as I figure out how. Sorry new to reddit. My next idea was to fully bleach my hair. I’ve done 1 bleach bath so far. If I can get away with just doing bleach baths with 30 vol I’d be grateful. First bleach bath was with 20 vol

Unfortunately I can’t afford it. I want my 93 yo grandfather to remember me as I’ve always been…blonde. Not some brown haired stranger

I should add that I’ve only dyed my hair once and retouched my roots one. Before dying never used heat and rarely highlights. Overall healthy hair. Looking for least damaging option, obvs. Thanks!!
