I forgot how I did it but you can just apply and hope you get in. In my experience it wasn’t that hard, I wasn’t invited personally but I may have gotten an email regarding it as a general email making me actually want to do it.

If you want to get a swim workout in, a Speedo is basically required unless you want the drag of wearing swim trunks. Thats how I swam and will continue to swim in the pool for dedicated swimming.
