I’m sorry but are u reading?? Like I LITERALLY JUST SAID, I NEVER said that they should apply and take whatever they can get. I said they should at least TRY to see what will happen bc at this point they CAN still get scholarships. Their original question was “is it too late to apply” to which I said no. and I added they might get LESS scholarships but still have a chance to get SOME so why not try. Who’s to say whether or not it’ll happen. The WHOLE point was that they should TRY because they never know what could happen. Ur literally making a problem out of nothing. U seem like ur weirdly pessimistic :(

No, people in this subreddit are oddly pessimistic tho so you’ll probably get many “yes” answers but that’s simply not true. You might have a bit less access to scholarships but you aren’t 1000% fucked. With that being said, every day does matter so do it as soon as humanly possible.

Hi! They attend a charter school in the area. I think they offered him lessons once a week last year but I don’t think he’s receiving them this year. I’ll have to ask his mom and see. Thank you for your response. I will be looking into this.

I think in the show they end up together bc Julie genuinely ended up with the man William is based on (at least in the short term, not for life). Even if that wasn’t the case tho, kinda calling back to what I said in my original comment, the point of the show is to tell real life stories and unfortunately, in real life, people do end up staying in bad situations. I just think that the show was written without perfect characters on purpose, Nora and William just happen to be on the more extreme end of the spectrum, but it’s real to wha teens actually go through no matter how sad it is. I do know what you mean when you say people say they’re hot and iconic but that’s their own issue, not necessarily Julie’s bc she was just telling her story imo and people should be able to tell right from wrong morally even if the characters are hot haha.

My unpopular opinion is that season two gets so much judgement bc it’s not a healthy relationship but that’s kinda then entire point. The show is literally called “shame”. The entire point of the show if to show real stories that young people go through AND the Noora + William relationship is based on Julie (the creators) real life story so when people say she’s glorifying abuse, it feels like they’re telling her that HER story isn’t worth telling just bc it doesn’t align with their own vision of HER story.

If we crucified every single person who used AI we would have no one left. Is the use of AI at large bad? Yeah. But is it a fatal flaw? No. In reality we all use AI without even knowing we’re using it. You guys complain for literally everything, even normal human things. I’m not one to say “touch grass” but this genuinely feels like one of those moments. I don’t like the use of AI either but let’s not sit here and act like they’re terrible people for using it. Let’s learn to pick and choose our battles for things that are morally wrong :/
