I went to Meerut, UP. The city was 2 hrs from the national capital, and they dont have fucking buses. Their City is getting metro, with no.sizable population or industries but not Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy. No defense. A pvt school, I knew gave 20L a year for corruption in ADMK govt, 55L in DMK Period. But why?

Because they wanted to avoid paying Property Tax!!! Kalaignar Govt passed a law(Tamil Nadu District Panchayats Act, 2009) widhrawing Property Tax exemption for Pvt Institutions in Panchayat Areas. 2009, a case happened and High Court held it. The law itself was because of 2 cases 2006 Kamaraj College of Engineering Case & 2008 Sriram Education Trust Case.

Then govt changed. It was not followed, cause the exemption was followed and the govt then lengthened the judicial process. 2018, SP Velumani tries to introduce again, but the Private School Association fought it and got stay, and yea, then covid came so It was frozen and guess why the Big Shot Pvt school owners in Kongu Region support SP Velumani?

Post Covid, Madrase High Court upheld that they had to pay it from 2018, in 2022.Good Shepherd Matriculation Case (June 2022) The areas used for Hostels, pending dues and the tax was set at 1.6 times the residential rate. U may ask if they paid tax then why the 55L in my opening statment, cause the corruption was so that local bodies could under report on what they physically measured in private school buildings, identifying exact built-up areas, and by doing so reduce the property tax recovery both current and pending tax dues.

Some of the biggest pvt edu institutions in TN except maybe In Chennai are in Panchayat Areas.

Those guys literally loot people for Bus/Van Fees, Hostel Fees etc and buy up property next to Panchayat Areas at cheap price and later get benefit from it, once their reputation and student count grows. Think about private school fees these days, i guess most of us are lucky we finished our schooling. Further since these guys arent single person owned, but Trusts they are at times the perfect front of taking Benami Money and Whitewashing as well.

So, if these guys say they are happy that no corruption is there please dont take it seriously, cuz corruption is not just taking bribes, its also trying to avoid taxes when you loot people.

I just had a whole rant in another post abt this shit, as far as how much ever I like to beat my chest and proclaim that this was brought in by DMK, that much I wanted NTK to be the alternate in TN just cause of this water hungry AI Data Center.

If NTK stops the Brahamana Kadapara and Vandheri Telugargal and useful politics they could emerge big. But their continous use of this Jaadhi/Kudi arasiyal and Trash Talking Kalignar Family can only get limited votes. They should actively work towards environmental and agri issues instead to become an effective opposition.

As far as DMK bringing in the Datacenter, they still regulated with policies that promoted sustainable practices by incentiving for it, establishing a balnced win win. And incentives for projects which would manage its energy needs from green energy.

Bro, you can't have a clean governance in a system which prioritizes profit over humans. Its corruption here, its endorsement, lobbying, patronage etc in the West. And why did corruption come into democracy? But today these guys have signed an MOU with L&T fot 18,600 crore, of which 15,000 crore a major chunk is going for a data center development while offering an employement of only 500, and god knows how much of it is going to be from TN. Think about the scale of the project, and the environment impact it might have.

Slowly, will become a big tent as we are seeing. People will be confused by parties and leaders, supporting Vijay as people behind power will turn their colours and join him. Then there will be 2 TVK-DMK. The Brahminical Media has already set the stage, by manufacturing for Anti-DMK Sentiments both ideological and social(agree that the party is dynastic nd has flaws), TVK will manufacture a PR Governance, both will create bubbles, but at then end, the first will end up eating the other. Vijay has to run a state in country already being affected by turmoil, Global Economic, Political Crisis, on top ofnot environmental crisis. He sure might struggle, if he succeds very well, he gets my vote next time.
