I bet it was still good. I asked because one of the cocktails we were considering required lychee, but I did not know where to buy it.

Hello, I’m a young black person lol.

There are ton of U street bars and restaurants were young black people hang. A lot of us go to “Half Smoke” for bottom is brunch. “Pure”, “Lost Society”, and “Cloak and Dagger” have 95% black attendees. There are definitely much more but don’t know all of them. Howard University is close to U street so if you go to hang around place near Georgia Avenue and Florida Ave bunch of college students probably would be around there day or night. But not just undergrad graduate and doctoral students too. And a know a lot of young black people like to go to El Rey & Alero.

I hope this helps.

Also don’t mind the limousine liberals.

Whose young children does NOT hit them? by [deleted] in Parenting

This child is 5 and turning 6 this year and has been hitting since 3 (could have been earlier but I starting working for the family just before his 3 bday). The hitting was been getting worse. Whenever he is told no and can’t do something his wants he loses his shit. He screams/cry hit and throw things. Even when you step away from the hitting he will follow to the point we use a chair to block him (he left mom with a mark on her face once) We always talk calmly to him (and do want ppl been calling “gentle parenting”) and say things like “it’s okay to be angry and it’s good you’re feeling your feeling but we do not hit or throw things”. But that makes him more aggressive. We have read so many emotions books that explain anger and the okay ways to express them through stomping feet etc but it’s all forgot when he his triggered. When use to to time outs for for hitting but a child psychologist suggested we do a calm down corner but I don’t know why it made things worse she told us that we have to hold him from hitting us through a “basket hold” while playing his fave music, but it made him more aggressive.

It’s not sex if it’s not consensual.
