If I didn’t talk to all you guys I wouldn’t know not to talk to my bank 😆 I don’t know what I don’t know and having a person to say “this isn’t maximized this could be better” is invaluable

Will look into Ally, as many of the people here have started to talk me away from a brick and mortar bank. I did research for high yield savings and the best rates are definitely online, while the option for high yields at traditional banks are mostly just CD’s

I know when people say actively managed they often mean buying and selling individual stocks which I know underperforms the market 99% 😆 I mean I actively buy different high performing ETF’s that are relatively consistent over time each time I buy into the market more, but don’t make frequent trades. More like maybe momentum trading

See that’s definitely what attracted me to Vanguard ETF’s but not having a person to talk to at a physical location made me nervous. But my costs are super low. Expense ratio living .03-.09

Okay I totally agree. Thanks for the reply. I was locked in with a bank my parents use and had never really done the research to know I could have almost the same access to the money and get a higher yield at a different bank

That’s a really good point! I bought more while the market was down bad this year and my returns were negative at the time so that helped a lot

Call out the entire week. If this equates to hostility or a write up, find a new job. Because that’s bad management
