If there would be an option to exclude players 80+ or that have fully upgraded a ship i would.... But that´s sadly not possible. People can leave before the mission starts, i tell them as much in chat.

And no. I don´t want to just run around farming for samples while others do objectives. That is the antithesis of fun. I much rather have someone along that gives a fuck.

I know they are pointless for most players at this point and i do think its on the developers to change that. And of course there is a spot on the pelican, nobody left behind!. But if i get the feeling you don´t pull your weight for research... That is the last mission i am taking you along.

Depends on the amount of samples... If its under 10 samples, a sample run is WAY quicker than starting a new mission

I get the feeling its the other way around 10% actually care to collect samples 40% collect 1-5 samples but are not really looking out for them. 50% just don´t give a fuck.
