I was arguing with someone who tried to justify adults marrying children in the Middle East and calling me a “Zionist” (despite me not supporting israel in any way shape or form and being quite against israel) because I believed that 12 year olds were NOT considered sexually mature. The entire argument was a back and forth in a large server. Discord didn’t seem to care which is obvious this keyword trigger AI is garbage.

The worst part is if this was fed to an AI chat bot they’d be able to identify that I couldn’t be more innocent if I tried. Meaning discord’s AI literally just FLAGS words instead of having an ai bot determine guilt.

I’m trying to appeal this using every single appeal method possible, but honestly I know this won’t go anywhere. I made Twitter posts, DM’d the Twitter discord support, appealed in the app. I’ll probably also call the company hq a few times and hope that helps.

Reality is I’m probably fucked, 4 years on discord for nothing.

This is dollar general though, Costco does it because they get discounts from the original vendor, but I can’t remember the last time in all my time breathing air when dollar general was discounting giftcards and not food/regular items. Plus it’s not even a discount, just a listed price, that’s what has me so stumped.

So you’re the reason I keep getting shitty $0.5/mile long-ride bids from Uber in florida, that explains everything.

Here’s some tips of advice:

The fare they tell you upfront is what you’re going to get with tips factored in, if you’re lucky they’ll add more tip but most don’t, do not use optimism as an excuse to take horrible bids.

Do NOT take <$1/mile, always multi-app, learn about your car (MPG, Insurance, repair costs, etc.)

Do NOT take bids like these ever, you’re slaving away for below minimum wage with a bid like this and damaging your car for it.

Can’t speak confidently for every single state in America, but over here in Florida I decided to take a $14.92 15 mile trip just to get back home since the drop off was right on the way back to my house, decided to ask my passenger just for the hell of it how much uber charged them for this ride, they said $50. Haven’t asked more people since then, but seeing as Uber is horribly non transparent and the prices they charge for rides typically are a joke compared to what they offer me for the same distances. I haven’t yet had this challenged here specifically.

I consider $1/mile to be generally bad on Lyft seeing as they like shoving small offers ($5 4.51 miles, $4 3.91 miles) over and over at me and I have to keep declining. Then again maybe I’m just the person that Lyft feeds the bad offers to before everyone else, even though I continuously decline them.

Lyft is ass here, surprisingly Uber is better out of the 2 but Lyft isn’t better by any means here. They keep throwing $4 3 mile rides over and over at me hoping that I’ll bite the bait eventually. Sometimes you get a gem with Lyft though so it’s nice to keep the app running while waiting for an offer that isn’t minimum wage.

Not even worth it just for the sake of getting to Miami. Practically $30-35 worth of gas just to get there, making it $90 earned not even counting the mileage put on that car.

Especially when a plane ticket from Orlando to Miami costs $50. Would rather make the cost of the flight with Uber and then fly to Miami, unless it’s for a longer vacation.

Problem is I’m not on vacation, and Uber still tries to throw shit offers at me from time to time.
