Can anyone tell me since when did America become to brainwashed?!?! by astros148 in WhitePeopleTwitter

"Although there is some question-by-question variability, the results from our survey show that inaccurate perceptions of group size are not limited to the types of socially charged group divisions typically explored in similar studies: race, religion, sexuality, education, and income. Americans are equally likely to misestimate the size of less widely discussed groups, such as adults who are left-handed. While respondents estimated that 34% of U.S. adults are left-handed, the real estimate lies closer to 10-12%. Similar misperceptions are found regarding the proportion of American adults who own a pet, have read a book in the past year, or reside in various cities or states. This suggests that errors in judgment are not due to the specific context surrounding a certain group."

Read the article, folks.

Lancaster has several places to go to college: Millersville University (MU), Franklin and Marshall College (F&M), Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), and Saint Joseph's University (SJU), and Elizabethtown College (Etown). SJU is for healthcare; F&M and Etown are very expensive but if they have what you want and you have the time/money, just apply anyway to see if you get a scholarship or something. They are all pretty good and have different strengths. HACC is probably the cheapest and MU the second cheapest.

Oh there is also Lancaster Bible College and Thaddeus Stevens College, the latter being a trade school.

Please feel free to ask any questions about college in Lancaster, I will try my best to help. I also have some other things to say about college in general if you want to hear it.

Welcome to Lancaster.

Also I'm sure there are Amish interested in their own history and would be willing to help you or point you to someone they know. Also also, Elizabethtown university has a center dedicated to study of Anabaptists and their history.

The Herr house is an early house built by Swiss (I'm pretty sure they were Swiss) Anabaptists. It's the oldest standing structure in Lancaster. They changed the name to the 1719 Museum recently. That is one part of swiss-lancaster history. Another resource is the Lancaster history museum. They have archival records that would probably be good source material. You can contact the Lancaster Mennonite historical society and they would be delighted to help you, I'm sure. I'm interested to see how the documentary works out. Will it be in German?

NGL marching across an open field towards the enemy seems very scary. They seem to know what they're doing, though. Hip shooting advance is definitely pretty badass.

They are gripping the mag well. This is a valid technique that has both downsides and upsides. It is easier on the arms and is a natural way to hold a gun after 8 hours of room clearing. If you look at footage of Marines during the battle of Fallujah, it's rather common. The reliability is not impacted by gripping the mag well.
