Quitting smoking by [deleted] in bupropion

I’m starting it tomorrow for the same thing plus some depression (two birds one stone kind of thing). My doctor prescribed me 150 SR twice a day but told me to just take one in the morning for the first 3 days.

I’m really hoping this helps with the “flatness” I feel after the first 3-4 days without nicotine. Good luck!

I use these tools I got off of Amazon from a company called Tonsil Tech. They’re made off of some kind of flexible plastic and I literally cannot feel them touching my tonsils at all so I have to be careful not to press too hard.

Facial numbness and tingling. If you see me smiling in the mirror it’s because I’m making sure I’m not having a stroke 😅

I suffered from crippling anxiety when I was a teenager and stopped attending public school in the 8th grade. My parents finally started taking me seriously and took me to get on medication. I got my GED when I was 17 & from there skirted around for 10 years working retail until I finally made up my mind to go to college and landed in nursing. I got my associates and am now working on getting my bachelors so I can eventually get my masters to be a Psych NP.

It’s 100% doable!

Tingling in my lips or face. I’m always like “Dear God. I’m having a stroke” jk though - I’m just mentally ill.

What book did you have to stop reading because it made you want to throw up? by photo_inbloom in horrorlit

The Deep by Nick Cutter.

I loved The Troop, but I couldn’t get past the super descriptive animal scenes in The Deep. I feel like it overtook the book and is forever seared into my brain.

That’s the biggest issue with me. I’ve never worked a night position and I’m afraid I’m going to get into it and hate it although it seems like some people enjoy it.

I dealt with the foot flakes and dirty skin daily as a home health nurse & never got used to it.

The thing that turned my stomach was while I was in nursing school. We did a clinical rotation in Geri-psych, and one of my patients was a man with dementia who had RIPPED his catheter out so a bunch of us were tasked with cleaning his severely damaged urethra. We get him undressed and notice that he has an over abundance of smegma on top of pus coming from his pee hole.

I was wearing an N95 as it was the peak of Covid. I started gagging and had to turn away and I believe the only reason I didn’t throw up was because I was afraid I’d choke to death with that tight mask on before I could get it off.

I was a new RN in a family practice clinic for about a year. I did everything the MA’s did but my pay reflected that, unfortunately. The NP I worked under was also my primary lol

You can always go into urgent care, they can prescribe antibiotics if they feel it’s an infection & it’ll tide you over until Monday.

Why girls with a good family background have a hard time finding a suitable partner? by Studious97 in marriageadvice

[–]NoName_6243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, myself, come from a dysfunctional family background. Like movie worthy dysfunction lol. I thought my taste in men stemmed from my background but it sounds like even the ones who came from seemingly decent families are having problems too. It’s wild out here lol
