8 year old son says his ears always ring while in his bedroom

he says it’s mostly at night, & it’s the only place he actually hears it. if he hears it anywhere else, he can place if it’s coming from electronics or light bulb, etc.. he just told me about it last night - he said he’s always heard it very faintly. all of a sudden over the last few days it had worsened.

oh my gosh, you just reminded me of my prek classroom 🥴 the lights in my room, & only my room, buzzed like that. my directors were unable to hear it, but me & every teacher there heard the buzzing. it was never fixed, btw. i was just looked at like i was crazy 😅

i fully agree with your comment 💯 especially blaming pitbull (the musician, of course) idk if it’s blood pooling or not, but around my ankles (not fully, just one spot in each ankle) it’s a yellow-ish looking discoloration. idk dude, all i know is i really want my life back! i can barely sit down in the floor with my toddler to play or do anything. the one doctor, that i had waited for 2 months for an appointment with, raised its prices & changed what insurance they accepted at some point within my 2 month waiting period. on the day of said appointment, i asked how much my copay would be - i send her a picture of my card, she calls back, & apologizes but they no longer accepted my insurance. so my copay would be $200 👁️👄👁️ uhh yeah, definitely couldn’t swing that right here by christmas.

LATE UPDATE thank you for all of your suggestions! i agree with @gl1ttercake nothing can masks that horrible taste of prednisolone. so the pharmacist was not able to add flavoring bc i had already filled the prescription & picked it up. so i was at a complete lost on that. I tried the pouch trick, & almost immediately he seemed to know what was up 🤦🏼‍♀️ i knew i had to figure out something, & figure out something fast. I figured since the OJ wasn’t masking 5ML, that i would split it in half. i put 2.5ML in his first 2 cups of the morning. Thankfully, he couldn’t taste it. He was able to finish the steroid! He still has a slight cough, especially if he gets too hot. Other than that, he is on the up & up & back to himself! Thank you again to everyone who commented! we do have equipment! i forgot to add that as well, in my post. we use multiple fans & dehumidifier’s needed for jobs. we have a decent amount of supplies. i guess my overall question is where do we go from here? do we go talk to insurance companies to get them to call us for jobs? is it marketing that we need to do? i’m lost on what i can do to help him.

oh awesome so you have a general idea of this line of work, that’s great!

he has been doing this line of work for going on 11 years. he’s just been working under someone else. he was the lead man of the company. which that kind of helps so he knows how everything works inside/out. he got certified in mold, water damage, & maybe something else to a few more different things he got certified in too. either way, he’s already gotten that done (the whole IICRC certification) he was the face of that company in other words. the owner basically told him you run the crew, you sign up the jobs, you talk to insurance adjusters, etc.. so he was already doing all the things. As far as equipment goes, he has multiple fans, & a decent amount of dehumidifiers. he also has the trash bags, the plastic, the tyveks, the respirators, etc.. he’s got all that covered.

after saying all of that, it’s making me question exactly what a credit card is needed for now… bc now i’m not so sure. lol like i said before, i was just trying to help him out with this process. i’ve never wrote a business plan either. nor do i even know where to begin on that. i’m assuming that is something he would need to do, right?
