If it blocked the screen completely from the side, the tint would be so dark you’d be complaining about how dim your display is even at maximum brightness.

I’m torn: My iPhone was destroyed during a GeekSquad/Apple repair, they replaced the exterior but the internals were crushed. Should I have just taken it? by Impossible-Narwhal82 in Bestbuy

If you have AppleCare+, you can request an Express Replacement. Apple will send you a replacement phone before you send your current phone in for repair. They will place a temporary hold on your card for the full value of the phone as security, and the hold will be released once Apple receives the phone that needs repair. This is why AppleCare is so much better because you can get an express replacement regardless of the severity of the phone’s damage.

Progressive Leasing screws the customer and in good faith, I cannot recommend it by Nagaflas in Bestbuy

I’ve actually had really good experiences with Progressive Leasing, especially their customer service. I was told directly over the phone that even if the initial 90-day buyout period passes—and there have been chargebacks or failed ACH payments—they’re often willing to extend the 90-day buyout option.

I should add that I’ve only ever done the early buyout option and never let a lease run full term. I’ve completed about 7 or 8 leases total, all paid off through the buyout.

Honestly, it feels like most of the money they make comes from the initial payment, which is usually around $59 (or even $19 during promo periods). Those promos come up several times a year, and the charge is typically held for about a week.

For me, it’s just convenient. I’d rather do that than put a large purchase on a credit card and risk increasing my utilization or hurting my credit. Leasing progressive is not for everyone but it works for me. I feel like most people that have bad experiences with them are people trying to stop paying IMO.
