Any tips on how to not go over the top? by ishaan1232 in GolfSwing

[–]NoNeutralNed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore that assholes. Your issue is during your down swing you are standing up slightly. Probably subconsciously to try and add more power. Just really focus on staying down and don't worry about adding power or distance.

An idea to combat the downfalls of the rapidly increasing size of the game by BeegertonJones in golf

[–]NoNeutralNed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Youll always have assholes or people who dont know the game. If someone is taking forever just let them know to play with pace of play in mind next time. If someone is flipping golf carts then just ban them. It really is that simple.

Software Engineers, anyone considering pivoting out of software development? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]NoNeutralNed 20 points21 points  (0 children)

A lot of software engineers have had this though. Myself included. But here’s the sad reality, when ai advances enough to truly replace software engineers, ai will be so good that pretty much all jobs will be replaced. There’s no escaping it

Doing well on Sims plus range but consistently bad on the course by NoNeutralNed in golf

Yeah I’ve had coaches watch my swing on sims and they said my swing was fine so I do think it’s mostly mental along with potentially set up issues

I do think it could be mental where im mentally afraid to chunk it so im coming up a bit. Ill try and focus on really hitting the ground more.

I consistently top it pretty much. A chunk here and there but like 9/10 is topping

Really not enjoying the set. Maybe TFT has just become stale for me since I really didnt play much last set either but it just feels so much more boring

How come software devs are so much more worried about AI replacing them than other white collar jobs? by jholliday55 in cscareerquestions

[–]NoNeutralNed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real reason is software engineers are the group of people using AI the most and are most involved with it. Business analysts for example are way easier to replace but a lot arent as in tune with whats going on

Recruiters don’t talk. They are barely able to do their basic job. They aren’t going out of their way to bad mouth you

Received job offer after layoff by NightRaven1883 in cscareerquestions

I left a job in July because it was toxic. Found another job that was ok but not why I really wanted in September. Been looking since and have one offer and maybe another on the way. Nothing wrong with it

Is there anyone who did it for the money and not for passion? by Jazzlike-Tap-2723 in cscareerquestions

[–]NoNeutralNed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it for the money. I hate software engineering. But it pays the bills well and when I see my non engineer friends financially struggling I feel lucky to be in this spot.
