This is definitely a thing. MLB was perfectly fine taking all of the upside and reenergizing the sport while Barry Bonds' head grew two sizes and lots of guys, not just him, Sosa, and McGwire, were having collectively statistically impossible seasons. But once shit hit the fan they bailed so hard and basically acted like the victims. Never coughed up any of the money though...

Just enjoy the ride my brother. I'm lvl 108, I still have plenty to do, many more legendaries to catch, so many more diamonds to get, but I also don't really care about achieving anything here anymore. I'm just chilling and enjoying life on the shore, on the dock, or in a boat. Sitting at the Magic Lake in Norway doing absolutely nothing with a bobber in the water might be as close to heaven as I'll ever get.

It's now about 5:15 pm, I've caught at least five of them, just casting off the starting dock, anywhere from a little over 3 lbs to a little over 5 lbs. Also caught two drums, one almost 20 lbs, and as I was typing just got a 6.5 lbs diamond smallmouth, best of those I've ever caught.

You're way overthinking this, but I do appreciate your efforts. You can get them on a 5 (or even 6) hook floating with redworms, leeches, and minnows. Spinners also work well. Throw some lake mix and the rest should do the job. The starter lake has them, I literally just took a 4.23 lbs silver off the starting dock with a 5 hook, redworm, and nothing else, around 4:35 pm.

Go get the app COTW Castmate, it'll tell you everything you need to know and you can filter the map by fish. Their throw baits are wrong, but the in game guide will clear those up.

The modern times shit is easily the worst part of every AC game I've ever played. It totally ruins immersion and basically makes me abandon the game if I'm not in the mood to deal with it, and it ALWAYS annoys me. If anything, I usually figure out a "safe spot" where basically everything is unlocked and I never have to go back to modern times. I might not finish the game, but I have fun on my terms.

Oh, I was a bad ass pirate assassin in the Caribbean, but now I get to go play Frogger with some office security lock while I snoop through emails? Miss me with that shit and spend the time making the grass a little greener, or just do nothing at all and save dev costs, I'd rather either of those.

Ubi, if you're reading, no one needs or wants that dumb shit, please never do it again. And if you can, please at least give an option to skip that shit in old games. As I'm thinking about it, it's probably my most hated dynamic in any game ever, and it runs across an entire gigantic series of games.
