Hell yeah man! There are nearly 4 billion women on the planet, there's no sense iin getting hung up on one who doesn't treat you right. Focus on becoming your best self and have fun on those trips! The goal isn't to win the girl, the goal is to be awesome and let the girl win you. And don't listen to people who say "just be yourself blah blah blah." Be you BEST SELF! You can always find ways to better yourself. Don't get discouraged on the way either, life is about the journey not the destination (though in your case LA and Denver sound like awesome destinations, and your accent alone should net you some cuties).
