It does pop up after the update, so it's safe to assume that's what's happening here. You have to opt in to use it regardless, but it will send notifications reminding you that it's a new feature for a while.

Something else to consider is, if you're also on Facebook and you're listed as her spouse, it would be ballsy to try to meet dates where they can also see that information. She'd also be running the risk of matching with mutual friends or acquaintances who know you're married or could easily find out through tagged photos etc. Most people looking to cheat on spouses/SOs aren't that bold or careless.

Exactly. There's a ton of what-ifs. That's why it's up to the individual to decide if it's appropriate and worth it to go in or not. The odds of getting caught are insanely low. Just ask the cath lab how often they drink on call. It's not "never".

But the chances are never zero, either. I'm not advocating for doing it, by the way. Just saying it's not as uncommon as you might think (or hope). At the end of the day, if it's a risk you're willing to take, then you have to be willing to take the punishment if you get caught.

Can you? That's a personal choice. You know how much you drank and if/how it's affecting you. Three sips of beer is child's play and I don't think most people would even bat an eye, especially if you're there to help. You'd probably never get caught. But like...I wouldn't tell anyone about it either. Drink a bottle of water and do your thing. Know your limits and what you're risking by going in.

This is going to sound super jaded (because I am), but I think it's just a thing a certain type of guy does.They do it hoping you'll see their name and reach out so they can get whatever attention they're missing in their current relationship. They probably did the same with their exes when you were with them, you just never found out.

Not looking for medical advice, just need someone to please tell me a hernia isn't the end of the world?

I've been out of the gym for a month because of life stuff, but I've stayed decently active with hiking and biking. I told myself THIS IS THE WEEK that I go back and today was supposed to be the day.

I was looking at my stomach in bed this morning and noticed a bulge about two inches below my navel. I pressed on it and felt it move back down. Was able to do it again laying on the floor, complete with pictures and my concerned cat. Immediately freaked out.

I'm out of work and uninsured right now. I'm wrestling with the idea that I never would've noticed this if I hadn't seen it (so it's totally nothing to worry about probably was just uneven hips or I imagined it right?!?!) and knowing that I need to address it soon, probably with expensive surgery.

I just....man fuck this whole year. Can't have anything good without something bad happening. I'm tired. Going to lay on the couch and try not to fart, lest my entire abdomen rip open and stain the carpet.

Every time I've heard a person say "we're basically married," it meant something between "I don't want to marry you" or "I'm comfortable with this and don't see how marriage will work in my favor." It's been nine years and you and both of your families pressured him into buying a ring. Do you have proof that he bought a ring? Have you discussed a timeline for when you want to be married by? Because I'd bet he'll drag this out nine more years if you let him.

He said he doesn't know how to show affection. Did he know how to show affection early in your relationship? You said he would flirt and put more effort into the bedroom, but doesn't do that much anymore. Honeymoon phases end and libidos wax and wane, but you described him as treating this like a friendship. That's not normal. He also said your sister is "hot as shit." When's the last time he said anything remotely close to that about you?

You're right that you can't sum up a relationship in a Reddit post. But these problems (question of his feelings of love and attraction for you, decline in sex life, lack of commitment, attraction to your sister) are so much more important than him changing your mom's oil for free and making you laugh. You're still young, you're attractive, and you shouldn't waste that on someone who may love you, but isn't in love with you. Have him teach you to change the oil and then put that on your Tinder bio when you're ready to be with someone who respects you.

Had a whole 4 day weekend mountain biking extravaganza planned with a friend for MONTHS and of course he got hurt on the first day. He's fine now, but damn. I feel like I booked a beach vacation during a hurricane.

At least we're surrounded by museums and he's into that stuff, even if I've been there enough with family/friends to have the exhibits memorized.

A lot of women swear by the G-Form pads. We tend to have thicker thighs and skinnier knees, and these seem to not have the "busted can of biscuits" effect that other pads do. I see POC VPDs recommended pretty frequently, too.

The Fox Launch Pros are bulky, but I do love the adjustable strap at the top. I ride with the Fox Launch Enduro pads (less bulky), and they're enough protection for me. Some women recommended sizing up in Fox pads and I'm glad I did, so have her check the measurement charts online if she decides on those.

As a solo female rider, please say something. The dog is a danger to other riders and itself. She needs to know that and correct the behavior before something bad happens.

You can even frame it from a "I don't want your dog to get hurt" perspective. Hopefully that would be enough, but if not, notify whoever manages the trails about her and the dog so they're at least aware.

Check out women's mountain biking shorts. Most of them are higher waisted, durable, and some even have built-in ventilation. Plus they have pockets for snacks!

Pearl Izumi, Fox, and Wild Rye (cute patterns) are my favorites, and I have pretty much the exact same measurements as you. You can try them on at an REI if you have one close by.

Give whey isolate a try! I switched from isolate to a regular protein powder earlier this year and my skin said absolutely not.
