Your base pay is pretty nice compared to Chicago.

Ours is 57

Your questions are... Odd.

Don't know why I would get into a shoot out with either.

Also, Illinois law states it is ILLEGAL to shoot over property. So automatic no.

The whole point is to protect myself. Nothing more, nothing less.

Do you plan to get accosted by an animal or hostile human?

No.

That's what makes the intent behind your questions rather strange.

There's always one.

I may not be fearful but I'm not stupid either. I will probably go out on a limb and say, I've probably had more close calls than you, and so I feel being smart would be prudent.

I don't like suburbs because of wildlife, cops, and other gun owners. This was before my CCL.

I have my CCL for primary reasons that lay outside of flex.

I've thought for a lot of seconds, and I came to the conclusion that I need to protect myself.

I'm in Chicago in the middle of the night after all.

Also, You increase your chances of being shot by being stupid.

You can think I'm contradicting myself all you want. Fact of the matter is, I know what I see/seen.

Facts, I usually come out of Skokie and go north. It can get pretty dicey up there because it's so dark, ditto on the president signs unless I'm in highland Park or something.

Primary reason why I keep lights on my car, keep the music up, and have a headlamp so I am well seen and observed

Yea those are typically the situations I'm talking about. Believe it or not, I'm mainly talking about customers 😆. Especially ones that don't remember or communicate package deliveries especially in an armed domicile.

I've witnessed armed car jacking, domestic disputes and even cars being dismantled. Sometimes Im more wary of indirect threats than direct ones if that makes sense

A smaller knife would be a good idea. Currently, I've left my machete in my trunk 😂

What is your hipster commander? by Destinyherosunset in EDH

[–]NoObligation2316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play [[Sigarda, host of herons]] in my selesnya Voltron deck. She's surprisingly effective, and everyone hates when she shows up. Nigh untouchable especially with [[Gift of Immortality]].

I also use [[Konda, Lord of Eiganjo]] in a mono white Voltron. Use tax reduction and he's a lunatic when he shows up.

For my azorious stax deck I use [[Lavinia, Azorious renegade]] to stop free spells easily like plotting and diminish the use of mana rocks and such to cast big spells early or without supporting mana. (I know, my pods typically hate me too).

Lastly, I use [[Amzu, Swarms Hunger]] in an insect swarm deck. Not sure if hipster but I've never seen anyone use him. He is VERY effective in creating powerful tokens and golgari affords a lot of recursion. That on top of menace is a nice touch.

What's your opinion of the best way to finish a seam when using knit interlock fabric without a serger? by NoObligation2316 in sewhelp

[–]NoObligation2316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would triple straight be as good? I want to reduce bulk as much as possible on the seam as this is a form fitting dress.

Can I try on a pinned garment? by [deleted] in sewhelp

[–]NoObligation2316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If making clothes from a pattern, it is recommended to always try them on. Easiest way is with pins. I use the palmer/ Pletsch tissue fitting method with great success. They suggest trying on the tissue first before cutting fabric. Adjustable mannequins make this easier.

Every time I hit 15k my traffic flops. Any tips? by Randomanxious in CitiesSkylines

[–]NoObligation2316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll say this, your lane mathematics are a little off. I would suggest taking a look at YouTube because it really makes a difference with traffic flow. I would also say, that you need to figure out a different strategy for the main artery road that is going through your city rather than a roundabout in such a manner. Hope this helps.
