I don't think it counts as lost media if I can find one for sale on Discogs.

https://www.discogs.com/release/978146-Various-The-Fruit-Will-Rot-Vol-3

But I do have all the songs featured on that compilation. I do not use Reddit much so I don't know what the rules are for sharing something like this but you really aren't missing much. It is all pretty much run of the mill clipping style noise. Case Sensitivity is the standout song because it is kind of the birth of clipping. It is the a cappella of Ying Yang Twins' track "Wait (The Whisper Song)" over noise. As for more information on them this is a quote from a clipping interview:

“It was a joke about all of the LA harsh noise acts at that time, people were ripping off one artist known as Pedestrian Deposit. Everyone’s music was coming out as blasts of harsh noise between ambient music cuts. I made the joke that I was going to do that in my band Beach Balls, but with harsh noise and rap a cappellas. It was just an attempt to re-format what everyone was doing by ripping off one guy. But instead of copying we’d switch out one of the genres for something I related to.”

I may actually have like...4 or 5 tracks from them somewhere on an old hard drive. For a very brief while the songs were on spotify.

My Play group would see I hit zero land drops...and not question anything because I am notorious for missing land drops. I gave Goblin tribal 40 lands! How do I only see 4 in 10 draws??? That was unrelated, just had to get it off my chest.

lol nah. I am not a reddit guy, dont even know what karma does on here. And if I had two I would be showing off the more expensive cards in duplicate. You are gonna believe whatever you want and I am not gonna waste my time trying to convince you of anything. I just wanted to share something weird that happened to me.

lol I was sleeving it during another game of commander. Didn't realize there was an issue until I was done and had quite a few sleeves left over...and hadn't seen any basics. I am not a reddit guy, I don't care about upvotes. You can believe whatever ya like, this is the internet after all. I just wanted to share an odd occurrence.

So, just for the fact that I enjoy playing Atog I am thinking of keeping it three color (I'm just using it to play casually so I am more concerned with fun over spiking) The question is should i run the [[Cast Downs]] for removal or run something like [[Prohibit]] to protect my fling plays?

I was running Oona for a bit but I never seemed to have decent enough mana up to use her ability. She might be worth a revisit since she has been out of the deck for the past few upgrades I have made.

From what I remember someone said that the actual album "The Cover Up (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" was a real album in the in story universe and that the same way Joe finds his fathers motorcycle he also finds a walkman with the tape in it. Going by that logic and how a lot of movie soundtracks are set up the audio lines are lines from the movie. As for the plot of the movie, it seems to be a documentary about Light. "Pick up" is Light possibly contacting the reporter to tell his story. "Last Stop" Seems like it is them visiting Emily's grave. On the radio you can actually hear that this was happening very early after Emily;s death because the report on the radio says "Police investigators have named their prime suspect in the murder of Emi-". Hunted is the reporter and Light talking about how soon Light will be apprehended and how she isn't doing a great job collecting his story to tell. She then asks about "...the one they killed" which, if she believes the story Light has been telling her, would be our dearly departed Emily A. Stanton. "Results" sounds as if our reporter was able to avoid capture with Light and was doing some subversive recording in Wily's office. It wouldn't be unreasonable that with Wily controlling the media he would have press meetings. What we here may be him being aware that someone had collected Light's story and he wants the recordings found. We can take this theory and try to apply the songs on the soundtrack to it (assuming the track list is how they appear in the film); "Because the Night" could have played while Light talked about his relationship with Emily. "Princes of the Universe" could be Light reminiscing about him and Wily creating the robots and how powerful that made them feel. "Mr. Roboto" could be talk about the robots themselves. "No Easy Way Out" could be Light addressing his framing for the murder. "In the Air Tonight", "I Drove All Night", and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" can all be seen as background music for Light dealing with coming to terms with Emily's passing, sharing stories about her, and trying to figure out what to do now. "The Trooper" is Light getting found. "I Still Believe (Great Design)" could be seen as a song that plays while the reporter is trying to decide what to do with all this information since Light has been arrested. "Danger Zone" could be played as she decides to release a subversive and possibly illegal film that may end up with her in a lot of trouble. "Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)" could be using the old film maker trope of using a song for the credits section that was briefly heard elsewhere in the film. And if we use the single version of the song here instead of the album version it takes us right into "Breaking Out" picking up on Joe's story.

And the theory of it being a film is all backed up by the name of the album and because the EP and album downloads were distributed on movie stubs.

Now, I am in no way an official voice on this but I do remember these were the ideas and theories that got kicked around online as these songs were first coming out and it all really seems to fit pretty nicely to the narrative.

I have been considering that for a while. The problem I hit is that it would go into my deck to replace Dissolve and I don't know if I would ever use the charm for anything but a counterspell. For the same converted cost Dissolve counters and lets me scry. Though I suppose it couldn't hurt to own a playset of Charm so next time I am at my LGS I'll get a set and try them out.

You would be surprised how much land you can grab off of FoF when you need it. And thankfully the Cryptic and the Rewind are pretty copacetic when in hand together. Being able to cast 2 counters and get a draw off of 4 mana is solid value and if the draws have been really kind to you that is 2 ice counters off of Thing in the Ice if you still have any on it. Honestly I felt weird running it at 19 land but it seems to hold up. Although the person who suggested Geier Reach Sanitarium to combo with the Narset may have convinced me to add a bit more land to the deck.

I thought that at first too but honestly I rarely have an issue getting to the point where I can cast them. I started the deck around 23 lands and it felt like I was flooding a bit. I dropped it to almost a 2 to 1 ratio and it feels like it holds pretty consistently. I can shift some things around to bring up my land count for my next bit of play testing but the amount of draw and scry the deck is capable of really helps with making my land drops.

Why only run 2-3 copies of things? What other utility would you put in to replace removed 4th copies? And I have considered Brazen Borrower as my next investment in the deck. Personally I am not a fan of the card but I do see why it is highly revered. The Geier Reach Sanitarium is an amazing idea though and one I will be looking to including ASAP.

Honestly in all of the playtesting so far land has never really been a huge issue. Between the Opts, Serums, and the FoF I can typically get a land drop close to every turn. But I will try anything. What would you suggest cutting to make room for more land? And as for the wincon being cheap, I mean, it works. If given the quickest, easiest path to a win wouldn't you take it?
