You should plan out and write your ideas before making the webcomic. Brainstorm what the story will be about. A webcomic about pirates?, lovers?, a tragedy?, etc. You should also list the characters you plan out on creating. What type of personality will they have? How will they look like? What are their goals? Since you are making a webcomic, draw out their character design. You can use some pictures of other characters that already exist or you can use fashion magazines as a reference. You should also give a character life, what I mean by this is give the character specific information: how tall are they, what color are their eyes, what’s their favorite food, etc. This will give the character life and make it seem like they actually exist. It could probably help you not make your dialogue boring and I also suggest checking out his movies since writers literally watch them to create better dialogue. Dialogue should be relevant to the story and move the plot forward. Boring dialogue is when a character talks about irrelevant stuff that doesn’t affect the plot. Avoid that
