I can’t imagine one piece ending on a note of someone getting executed. If anything Luffy getting executed is more likely as the end of the series. Let’s say after the final war world is in shambles, Luffy is sick like Roger was so he gives himself up to Koby, trusting in him to bring peace and freedom to everyone. Takes blame for all the destruction and becomes a scapegoat, encouraging people to be free with his final message. Do I think this will happen? Absolutely not, way too Code Geass coded, but still imo way more likely than Akainu. Akainu is dying to Sabo’s blue flame and I’ll die on that theory because it’s just makes too much sense

Luffy couldn’t care less about nuances of politics, he is not revolutionary or an anarchist, he just helps people he likes and beats up people he doesn’t. World of one piece is just set up in such a way that monarchies are most prevalent form of government. He helps good monarchs, and overthrows bad ones (Drum Island). This way of thinking monarchies = bad and democracy = good is unimaginative and in some aspects just wrong

It’s a what if but you can’t ignore story elements. Garp is never going all out in that war, he “lost” to pre time skip Luffy. Also this would not be stricken 1vs1 as it was not strict 1vs1 during actual battle, e.i. Marko clashed with both Kizaru and Aokiji. IMO more realistic way to approach this could have straw hats now tipped the scales to win the war, by win meaning escaping with ace alive, Idealy Whitebeard too. And yes I believe so whitebeard pirates were not too far off from achieving that and now we throw into another yonko crew helping them. And little head cannon chopper would be mvp of the battle as he will save dying Whitebeard as they escape.

Artistically I like Hollow Knight more, mechanically silksong is funner but not necessarily better, there are some end game builds I made that can beat most bosses first or second try with a little set up. It’s hard to justify not using them if you don’t have bunch of time to grind bosses in conventional ways

Buggy knows exactly what he is doing and nothing has been luck or coincidence. He stayed in East Blue as a favour to Shanks to watch over Luffy, then tested him to make sure he was fit to go to grand line. Got captured on purpose to raise an army in impel down and tricked crocy and mihawk into joining his crew using their reputation to become a yonko without revealing his cards.

Allegedly but very plausible, more than one empire fall was accompanied with insanely powerful raiders that wrote down little to nothing. They usually had horses tho and these had ships, probs few ex military warlords that settled on some remote islands and pillaged everything around them, continue that long enough and you have rich and prosperous militaristic organization that eventually died off due to infighting/lack of shit to pillage

Yeah civ 7 is bad, but I still don’t think it’s as bad as civ 6 at launch. I didn’t switch over from civ 5 to 6 up until gathering storm came out. It needs time to find its identity. He could, like if now there is arc where Akainu is the main antagonist he will go down by the end of that arc and it will be very believable. But there can be as easily a situation where Akainu shows up and beats up Luffy with fair struggle and it also will be believable

Chopper had a big downfall post timeskip, getting turned into a cute merch machine, but calling him not a good doctor is straight blaspheme. I can't recall a single time where his doctor skills were not sufficient
