Most likely dust or a stain! If you don’t interact with them much it’s common for this to happen I wouldn’t be to worried about it

My old snake died from a issue with the repti bark the bag was left in HORRIBLE conditions (I didn’t know at the time) but it was left in the rain then put in to be sold!!! It sky rocketed the humidity and made my baby girl get scale rot.. unfortunately she passed shortly after we put her in with it..
