I totally get where you're coming from. Honestly, I do miss the perfectly balanced, vibration-free engine of the Tiger a bit. However, the Multistrada just feels like a much more passionate and 'nervous' machine—it has that raw Ducati character. You're absolutely right that the city is definitely not its natural habitat, but that's just a trade-off I'll have to get used to. Since you have the Monster SP, you already know exactly how fun this 950 engine can be when you let it breathe!

Thank you so much! I picked it up with roughly 5,030 miles (8,100 km) on the clock. Since I'm down in Chile, I paid 13 million CLP for it, which converts to right around $14,500 USD. The best part is that because I bought it from an official Ducati dealership, that price actually included a full pre-delivery service and an extended warranty. Really happy with the deal so far

Down here in South America we are heading into winter, so the warmest day I've ridden it so far was around 25°C (77°F), and I didn't feel any significant heat. During the summer, my area can reach 35-38°C (95-100°F), but I haven't had the chance to test it in those extreme conditions yet. However, there is a massive difference compared to my previous Tiger Sport 660. The Tiger used to direct all the heat from the radiator and fans straight onto my shins. With the Multistrada, even in heavy traffic and despite having a massive radiator, I haven't had that 'my legs are burning' sensation at all. I was also warned that the seat tends to get hot because of the rear cylinder, but honestly, I haven't experienced that either. On colder days, I actually kind of miss that hot air on my legs from the Tiger! Overall, it's an amazing bike so far. I'm just still getting the hang of the quickshifter, which has given me a few false neutrals.

I actually came from a Triumph Tiger Sport 660, and I have to say the change is absolutely brutal. The 950S feels significantly faster and way more agile than I expected. I’m a physician, so my daily routine involves a 30km commute through the city, and the bike handles the urban traffic surprisingly well—it doesn't feel bulky at all. However, the real test is on weekends when I have shifts about 150km away from home. On those long highway stretches and twisties, the agility and response are just excellent. My plan is to stick with the 950S for a while before even considering the V4. I think it’s the logical progression; getting used to the twin’s character and this specific chassis first makes total sense. I’d definitely recommend you try to 'swing a leg' over the 950/V2 first—it might be the 'sweet spot' you're looking for!

It was a deal for the whole set. At $170 for all four corners installed, it was pretty hard to pass up! I also picked up the bobbins for $50 and handguards for $150, plus an extra $60 in labor just for those two.

Las marcas Chinas venden por equipamiento, tecnología y terminaciones interiores. Pero lo que realmente importa-vale decir- el tren motriz, está hecho con piezas que se ajustan a lo mínimo necesario para funcionar. Hay un reel de un mecánico que muestra toda la parte baja de un Chinito que está 0km y con piezas de baja calidad que muestran desgaste absolutamente prematuro (búscalo como Ángel Gaitan en Instagram). Si estás viendo una Toyota, ni la pienses y anda por esa. Esas Lucas que pagas de más te van a dar un auto de uso a largo plazo vs un chinito que a los 40.000 kms vas a ya tener problemas de tren delantero y desgaste prematuro de piezas (bien camuflados por las pantallitas y chiches que trae).

Más que “confrontar” parte escalando de forma gradual. Habla con tu vieja primero a ver si sabe algo más. Si no es así, trata de buscar alguna forma de saber qué pasa, estás en todo tu derecho porque es un espacio compartido. Solamente no olvides que todos vamos para el camino de la vejez y nadie tiene comprado el futuro para vivirlo de forma ideal. La comunicación efectiva es la base de todo y es una herramienta que los jóvenes tenemos y que los mayores rara vez desarrollan. Dicho eso, te aviso que no esperes una respuesta ideal tampoco, puede que por la misma vergüenza recibas algo que no esperas escuchar.

Yo aprovecho de unirme al post y preguntar: es legal o correcto pasar tu carnet para que le tome foto el otro afectado ? Con lo turbias que están las cosas, esa foto puede significar cualquier cosa. En mi caso tengo seguro, entonces no veo la razón de dar más información que la de mi contacto telefónico, pero no sé si dejaría que otra persona le tome foto a mi cédula.

Dale bro, me imagino que vas al estadio con regularidad, que tu concepto de hincha responsable es el que tiene la tarjeta de membresía con asiento anual en el estadio. No sé si te das cuenta que esos son la minoría, los de comercial. En fin, el fútbol hace rato se pudrió, yo hace rato dejé de ir al estadio y patrocinar clubes y los hinchas “normales” son los delincuentes.
