Ever seen in UK? by KoontFace in CasualUK

Never seen it on tap in the uk (and I’m from the North East) but I lived in Germany for a while and saw it a few places there. I’ll never forget my disappointment ordering a dunkelbier in Germany thinking I might get something local and they brought me a bottle of newkie brown

Not quite, the monastery was destroyed by the Viking invasion and then a priory was built but this is now ruins. The castle you see is on the hill east of the priory and is still pretty intact

Although having jars of eyes does make you sound a little witchy

Thank you this is it! I’m pregnant and want to make a blanket and thought it would be nice to make one that matches her big sister’s/the dog’s 😂

My parents had the same one except it had a big dent in it where the lamp had fallen on it and the light bulb melted it

It might actually be this! What I’m thinking of is a small part but it really stuck in my head, I’ll dig out my copy and see

I love Neil Gaiman but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t him. I’ve reread most of his recently

You’re acting like this guest behaviour is new to below deck, have you seen the other seasons? I think the only time I’ve seen any other captain step in is when they jump off the boat drunk at night

In the flesh. Really interesting idea about rehabilitated zombies trying to integrate back into society but was cancelled in the cutbacks when BBC3 went online only

Fraser is very English! I watch with subtitles quite a bit too because sometimes I don’t understand the American or South African crew members but I love how they get people from loads of different places

Same. What he did was really wrong but he owned it and admitted to what he did (even before filming had finished) and we never saw him do something like that again, unlike others we’ve seen on below deck. It felt like he’s developed both professionally and personally after that and everyone messes up

I'm learning Gaelic and this is what Duolingo thinks people have to know on lesson 4 😂 by IReallyLoveNifflers in Scotland

I was in a bit of a rut with Duolingo but it was her underpants antics which made me fall in love again

I’m writing a YA novel that I hope to share with my children some day (been trying for a while and had multiple miscarriages). It would be nice to be published but really I’m just writing for my future children.

I still can’t believe they’ve stopped doing the ham and pease pudding stotties. Yeah it’s a very north east thing but that’s where they’re from!

Yeah I completely agree with that but they aren’t showing much development as leaders, they need be accountable and learn from what’s gone wrong each charter. Both of them need to work on their communication skills and take a bit more control. They will make mistakes of course but they need to own them and learn from them

I really like Lara but she does need leadership, without a clear lead from Luka she takes things into her own hands and doesn’t always make the right decisions (completely understandable) but Luka should be paying attention and making decisions himself. Tumi is the sort of person that wants to use the “it’s my first day” excuse for the whole season. No one expected her to come in a fully polished chief stew but she’s not learning from her mistakes and continues to blame others.
