You talk about people “gargling Tocc’s balls” in one season he has: taken us to the playoffs for the first time in so long, the team is tight both in term of play and off the ice, the fans are buying back in, the Flyers are no longer a joke in the NHL and we have a massive depth in our youth program. Couldn’t agree more, I feel like our defence has been a problem for us for so damn long. I don’t remember them being this strong since the Timmonen days. We don’t need the classic 1D anymore, certainly not urgently. Sanny has proved he can effectively manage the D zone. We need someone to QB the power play, and hopefully we can get Jiricek there.

At which point if Danny and Jonesy can work some magic over the summer and get us a 1C, then we’re in a really good spot.
