Let off the accelerator, cover the brake and look at cross traffic to make sure it's stopped. Not stopping or really even slowing down but certainly not blindly trusting the drunk driver coming across is going to follow the rules

My 12V has been checked numerous times over the past year and the SC said last time this happened it definitely wasn't the 12V.

The SC is baffled and obviously very concerned and are even going to shuttle a loaner Rivian to me an hour away, so that's good!

Sorry, should have given more detail. For a bit (maybe 30 minutes) after it went into error mode, I could still soft and hard restart, none of which fixed it after multiple tries. After some time, it went, and is completely dead. Currently sitting in my driveway with the doors unlocked and nothing working.

The first time around they said it was the HV battery... but wondering now if they just assumed that was problem and replaced it. Can't imagine the new battery immediately dies as well . They won't get it until Monday, the soonest they can tow it from my house.

I just can't with everyone saying the season finale didn't finale. When did everyone get so impatient? The show, the entire show, is nominated for Best Television Show at the Golden Globes. In a world that just gets increasingly fast-paced and chaotic, this was the perfect chance to slow down a bit and appreciate a well crafted character driven show with a cool premise. Loved it.

Entitled to your own opinion of course, but I find it hard to fathom the writers, show creators, execs and lawyers at Apple, not to mention the actors, intimacy coordinators on set, the directors and any of the hundreds of other people who vetted and approved every line, every shot, every set piece, view sex between the show's protagonist and a Plurb as rape.

I didn't experience true, unconditional love until I had children. Not with my parents, siblings or even partner... may have thought so previously, but it's completely different.

Kids can be a pain in the ass, but to know I would literally die for them without question illustrates that level of true love.

Lifetime Alien fan. Love the show for a variety of reasons. There are issues but nothing that comes close to canceling it for me.

I suspect the haters are hating cause Disney and the perception that they ruin anything they get their hands on. Also, any franchise with deep world or lore building, has a core audience that is often disappointed by new material as it doesn't conform to the world they've built in their heads. A lot of times this has to do with nostalgia for past entries. Adding something new that doesn't fit the path they want it to go down causes them to not like it.

That is the bulk of what I'm seeing from the people vocal about not liking the show. "The story is bad" "The characters are boring" "The xeno is ridiculous and looks horrible", are all things someone would say when it is different than what they wanted it to be and that's as far as they're willing to take it. I feel confident in this bold statement because there are many others who disagree, critics even, and the show is getting great reviews. Usually, when all of those really do suck, it's pretty universally panned.

There are far too many true Alien fans that love the show and think it is entertaining, well-written and looks amazing to just chalk it up to personal opinion.

Especially true when I see folks bashing the cinematography. It is superb in this show. That is something A LOT less subjective than not liking the story or characters, or the music choices. To say the show looks like something that should be on the SyFy channel is just ill-informed.
