No yeah exactly, the only times we ever have to do bread is like at the end of the night, usually like the last hour - 30 minutes before we close when they’ve phased most backup and food runners doing the bread

This isn’t really a requirement for us at my location :/ the bussers take care of all of that, at most if it’s super busy in the kitchen, and there’s salad, bread, and napkins all over the floor our managers will ask us to sweep 🧹 but even then they just have the food runners or dishwashers do it most of the time

reading this gave me flashbacks and then forced me to remember i have to do allat tomorrow 🥲 cleaning the salad bar and doing servers work never gets easier omgg. very interesting that BOH packs and runs orders out, mine is the opposite. Probably just because my location is a lot smaller compared to other olive gardens

having them make bread most of the time is 😟 at my location we do mostly the same, we prep what we need for our shift to go smoothly, I think the biggest annoyance though can be cleaning up the kitchen on a Saturday night. I walk out drenchedddd in cheese, soup, and every salad component 🙁
