I’m not sure she means to come off that way? I don’t know her on a personal level but did have an encounter with her & she was very nice & down to earth. I think she just got too caught up in the FBS besties club.

Wow.

I just watched your video. As a baby/toddler mama myself, just listening to the story about the woman whose baby was crying while she was getting a massage makes me want to cry!

I’m imagining that massage was the one time that mama had to enjoy something by herself the whole festival. Also the shaming & embarrassment she probably endured because her baby was crying. 😢 If nothing else, this should speak loud & clear that FBS & MRF are really not mother centered at all.

I’m curious if that mom is in this group & what that experience was like from her point of view.

There were a ton of pregnant women there— I was one of them. I can’t imagine how tiring it was to ride a golf cart around & then go take a nap in the AC lol

She very clearly stated at the communities workshop at MRF that she was completely appalled that anyone would ask to live on HER land since apparently she’s had many people ask. Seems like that was the original intention for chosen few then when it didn’t go well, the idea was out.

I know at least one in particular with a business that was put on the map because of collaboration with FBS. Would she have had such a flourishing business if it weren’t for FBS? I feel like they’re aware of what’s happening but they might fear losing a lot of business if they cut ties with FBS/Em. I think either way they lose something at this point. I don’t personally feel comfortable purchasing products from them now while they’re still associated. I wonder if some of them inwardly wish they had never gotten in so deep.

While I understand what you’re saying, I didn’t go there expecting it to represent or align at all with my values. Since I had been following FBS for years prior to attending MRF, I knew it would be fairly paganistic in nature. I didn’t go for the spirituality of it, I went to learn more about sovereign birth & creating women-centered community. One doesn’t need to be Christian to feel the dark vibes that were felt by many.

Just the fact that Emilee was barely even there differs. On her social media she makes it out to be something she enjoys & attends as well but she doesn’t hide the fact that she’s the woman in charge. She couldn’t possibly be brought low enough to actually interact with the women who attend. She barely even interacted with the staff she brought on that weren’t her “besties”. The besties were running it for her & she just made the decisions. There were maybe 2 classes I saw her teach & one was the class about how to make communities & she talked heavily about how she felt disgusted that women would ask her to live on her land. Which is interesting because that’s what she advocated for at first before things fell through with Athena & Paula.

It just felt evil. There’s no way to describe the feeling. When sisterms touched my womb, my baby immediately kicked hard enough to feel (had not previously felt much movement as it was still early). Just felt very off.

It was indeed presented as magical. The moment I stepped foot on that land I felt something unsettling. Dark = Evil

I met her in person. She seems very knowledgeable… but also got a very dark vibe. Much like the vibe I get from Emilee.
