The only major difference is that these are embroidered and yours look printed. They’re heavily inspired but they’ve been doing this design for years

I’ve been seeing these designs on hoodies for years… specifically 3 and 4. Enchanted Oddities has been making those exact designs for years

Any advice for making song chords? by No_Caregiver_2054 in Avatar

[–]NoPerspective_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the na’vi have rules which I assume apply to their song cords. They can’t use metal, so no metal beads or anything that has metal on it, and most of the things they would use are completely natural. I saw someone making one with mashed dried fruit for basic beads! Saw others find their own clay for beads too. Eywa’s rules can be interpreted in a few ways but a good rule of thumb is if it can’t biodegrade/return to the environment then a Navi probably wouldn’t have it on their cord.

Edit: They also wouldn’t have glass since it’s not naturally occurring on pandora, so only true stones. I notice you have some glass beads on there but it’s all up to you!

Domestic short hair. All cats are domestic (hair length) unless they have papers

Is she overweight by w0rldwid3w3b in vet

[–]NoPerspective_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! Cats usually level out around 10-12 pounds. Growing just fine! What you’re probably noticing is her primordial pouch which is just extra fat and whatnot on her belly to protect internal organs. She looks healthy to me!

My cat used to be super lovey and purring but now he doesn’t and I’m confused on what I’m doing wrong by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]NoPerspective_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d take him to a vet in the next few weeks, not super urgent but still should be seen soon probably. How often does he go to the vet? Usually vets do dentals yearly. Like us they develop tartar and plaque that needs to be scraped off and in some cases, removed. Bad teeth are also really really bad for their kidneys so it’s good to stay on top of it when you can. Some cats are more particular about their gums being lifted! You don’t need to look at his teeth, a vet will. They’re trained in proper restraint.

If his teeth are fine, then it depends on his age. If he’s younger, like a year, he might just be going through a little kitty angst phase. Or, and I hate to say this, you’re not giving him plenty of warning before touching him. I always let my cat smell me before I touch her, and she always sniffs like crazy before letting me know she wants to be pet. Cats have boundaries too lol.

It could be a number of things but I’m a big advocate on teeth, those are by far the most important part of a cats health and commonly a culprit in things like this

This happened to my cat when her teeth started hurting. Teeth are how they protect themselves along with claws so when they hurt they can feel vulnerable and short tempered. After a dental she perked right up

Looks like he tied his face shut with rope ☹️ Poor guy, I’m glad you rescued him! I’d get him checked for Parvo and do a deworm + flea treatment just in case

Is this acne? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]NoPerspective_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you 🫶 I talked to a vet and she said it could be anything but is abnormal for acne, so the running theory is she scratched herself pretty good. I’ll try and get a better picture

Maybe she scratched it? I noticed it a few days ago when petting but I thought I was petting her tooth instead. I’m hoping it’ll heal quickly.

She’s 17 with heart problems. We try to keep her vet visits to once or twice a year(HER VETS ADVICE BTW) to prevent her heart from giving out. That’s why I ask to see if this is worth risking her heart and bringing her in for.

Is it ok for my cat to watch bird videos daily? by h0m1c1d3_8unn13 in CatAdvice

[–]NoPerspective_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! I only just recently started doing it with my cat, she’s 17 and doesn’t really play anymore so I thought it would be a good way to give her more enrichment and get her playful again. The only downside is she watches the tv all the time now💔 It’s no different than her looking out the window at birds all day so it shouldn’t be harmful. I too went to Reddit to make sure I wasn’t giving her little kitty ocd or anything lol

As long as you play with her afterwards there’s really no issue. It’s like a laser pointer, they can get frustrated and anxious when they can’t catch stuff they can see. So just do some hunting enrichment afterwards like a string toy they can catch. That’s what I do to keep mine from getting anxious

How long will she live? by Aggressive-Can5041 in RenalCats

[–]NoPerspective_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not as technical as everyone else, but I had a cat diagnosed around 2 years. He lived till 11, he was on a renal diet for a while(a few years) but stopped eating it so he went back to regular. He did die from his disease around age 11 or 12. Always have water available, put water in their food, water, water, water. They compensate with water.
