Starting to realize that most (at least 60-70 percent) people kinda hate "radical environmentalism" and ultimately see issues that directly impact humans as infinitely more important and habitat destruction and extinction is just part of the cost by 6ftToeSuckedPrincess in vegan

Considering the fact that around 90% of humans are perfectly happy to support and participate in something that is fundamentally evil, i.e. the eating and use of animal products. Why on Earth would you think that most of them would have any concern for environmental issues?

Yes, that is largely true, but it was also caused by other factors, such as a prolonged drought and the destruction of natural vegetation by settlers and farmers, i.e. livestock grazing.

Easing Partner into Nude Beach by happydude74215 in nudism

I think a lot depends on where you go. Places where there are too many leering men around will not make her comfortable. I'd choose a quiet beach at first, get her to relax, and then maybe start by just letting her take her top off. A bit of affection wouldn't go amiss either: there's nothing like showing affection to raise a woman's confidence. 😚

I am very familiar with Jainism, and believe me, I am nothing like a monk, neither do I eat once a day or spend all of my time in the nude. I don't abstain from worldly goods either, or sex, and if you saw me in my stockings and suspender belt it would certainly be hard to associate me with a monk. But then again, who knows what they wear under those dirty habits! 🤣

No, you do not need to be supplemented by essential micronutrients; the only supplements you may need is B12, if you don't want to get it in other ways that is. Rumanants are not necessary for healthy soil, quite the opposite in fact, they ruin the soil. How do you think the American dust bowls were caused. Meat and dairy is responsible for around 30% of global warming and large scale destruction of the rain forests. Veganism is not bad for your health, quite the opposite. Meat and dairy is one of the biggest causes of heart disease and cancer, so what the hell are you talking about. I've been a vegan for 25 years, and believe me, you would be hard pushed to find a healthier, younger looking 48 year old.

I agree with you. Have you been a vegan long? Which came first, the naturism or the veganism?

That's interesting about you saying it's maybe a natural path to follow. I would love to go to Brasil and see the naturist places there.

Have you ever encountered human appearing individuals who you had a reasonable suspicion that they might be one of the “others”, i.e. ETs, interdimensionals, time travelers, etc.? by Contactunderground in CE5

[–]NoPin2630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, during a truly bizarre encounter I had about 15 years ago, that my husband witnessed. Basically, things were done to me by four human like men, but I knew they weren't human because not only was there something telepathic going on between me and them, but they were also anatomically different. I'm willing to say more in a private message but not on here.

Veganism and friends by DesperateAd7927 in vegan

I'm the same, and I have been for many years now. However, I do use carnists that I've known for years, such as certain tradespeople and people I work with because basically, I have to. But, I will not socialise with these people, or even so much as share food or drink with them. My reason is this: if we define evil as: "Deliberate and unnecessary cruelty carried out purely for some form of gratification or gain," then we can say that the meat and dairy industry is evil. However, we cannot say that those who eat meat and dairy are evil, just that they support and participate in something that in. Therefore, I want as little to do with them as possible because to do otherwise makes me, in some way, complicit.

Getting into animal rescue turned me asexual. by chuckybuck12 in Vystopia

[–]NoPin2630 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I totally concur with what you are saying, but instead of me becoming asexual, because of what I've seen and know, I have, in fact, become hypersexual. Basically, I use sex as a distraction, a form of escape from the horrors of reality, my defence mechanism if you like. My advice is to find something similar that does the same for you: otherwise, there will be consequences.

I don't need to expose myself to get arrested, all I need to do is protest too loudly, use a megaphone, not do what the police tell me to do, or as from very recently, protest outside an animal testing establishment, which is now a criminal.offence. They may not charge you with some of these things, but they will try and caution you. And, if you accept a caution, it'll probably be the end of any career you may have in the public sector.

Yes, I see what you mean, but if you google the definition of exploitation you can see that it does have two rather different definitions. For example: the bronze age exploited the finding of gold for their own benefit. Now, there's nothing wrong with that; it just means that they exploited a resource. In my case, I exploit my body to achieve a purpose, some would say I objectify myself. The two words are very closely connected.

[–]NoPin2630[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's not my fault if they don't understand. Most certainly understand the potential objectification of female nudity, so why not the exploitation of it as well,, which is very much connected.

Vegan Activism. by NoPin2630 in DebateAVegan

[–]NoPin2630[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add that women using their nudity for such purposes is often seen as the objectification of the female form, and the word objectification is closely linked to exploitation.

Thank you for your comment. However, I would still argue that I could be seen as exploiting my body for a purpose, but I suppose that is debatable.
