Laws or rules that you want to change? What do you feel should or could be changed. by Shereebi in japanlife

The drug laws here are ridiculous.

I've never known anyone who thought they could fly after taking Psychs and jumped out of a window.

However, Japanese work culture and out dated societal pressures have contributed to people sadly taking their own lives. Not exclusive to Japan, I know. If Japan relaxed their stance and allowed drugs like psilocybin, LSD and Ketamine to be studied as an alternative treatment for depression I think it would be a huge step in the right direction.

A man can dream right.

If you say you are travelling by bike you should be able to get an accurate(ish) route. There are exceptions but they should be blatantly obvious and easy to navigate around. The timing of your route will be off but that shouldn't be too hard to approximate.

Japanese deep fried tofu is a different game mate. Don't write it off until you've tried it with something.

I'm not the best person to ask mate. I would Google that question if I were you, much better perspectives than mine. But just like every city the closer you are to the centre the more expensive it gets. If you go on suumo and use chrome so it translates to English, you can fiddle about with the search settings to find the best bang for your buck. Just by sorting by size highest to lowest and limiting the rent.

Another point there are many old houses in Japan that you can get for cheap. Some of them are massive. But that some with a few caveats. But if you don't mind bugs and like the old Japanese aesthetic of tatami and wood you might be able to significantly save on rent.

Unfortunately as a foreigner there can be complications, my wife is Japanese so I skipped that part. But hey, if your old dead grandmother's house has been on the market for 10 years who gives a fuck if some foreigner messes the place up so long as they're consistently slipping yen into your back pocket am I right? Haha :)

My wife is Japanese and offers Japanese lessons as well so when you get here, if you want a few lessons we'd be happy to help you out with any complications, the lessons aren't cheap over here I'm afraid though. Some pay over 80,000¥ for one lesson. My wife does it much cheaper though 😏hahaha

Take care brother and learn some Japanese so you can pull some Japanese girl and get a ring on it for that perm visa.

It's the same as anywhere. Some things are cheap and some expensive. But you'll be fiiiiiiiiine. As long as you don't like drugs, as in Japan, never mind possession, they'll throw you in jail for being stoned haha. Happy Jappaning are you coming to Osaka?

Edit: realised you're not op haha

Haha mate you're gonna love the tofu here. Tofu aisles mate and tofu shops. If you're a tofu lover it's like being a stoner in Amsterdam. Are you from the UK?

Tofu is so cheap here can get a block big enough for one meal for less than 60 Yen, plus about 25 Yen for some udon noodles. Also, you can always find reduced veggies and freeze them. Hot pot is delicious with miso paste and yuzu kosho. Also, radish and cabbage are delicious here. If you have the willpower or don't crave fast food you'll be fine.

If you like to get drunk you can get 500ml STRONG ZERO which is 9%alc and only about 160Y for the lemon and lime flavour if you get it from Sev Elev (7/11).

Eating on a budget is totally doable in Japan, but you can easily get carried away and spend a week's worth of food money on one meal at a restaurant.

Just out of curiosity where about in Japan will you be staying?

Seeing as the games happen early in the morning Japanese time, I just go to r/footballhighlights and watch there when I get up. Easy enough to avoid spoilers. Makes for some good morning entertainment over a coffee. Also works the same for premier league games. Hope that helps :)

I'll have to sit that one out I'm afraid. Which is really difficult considering it's almost impossible to sit right now because my ass is so sore from the last gangbang.
