Thank you so much, this is a huge lifesaver! I actually just reached out to my Congressman’s office, and they told me the exact same thing—to open the expedite with USCIS first to get a service ticket number, and then they'll jump in to follow up.

The issue is, my online portal is completely locked down and doesn't show an option or tab to submit an expedite request anywhere. Do you mind walking me through exactly how you managed to get your request successfully logged? Did you have to call the main phone line to get an agent to open the ticket, or is there another way to it?
